Getaway Today - how long after purchase until receiving tickets?

I'm thinking of buying my tickets from Getaway Today but how long does it take to receive them via email? Would they be active immediately?

Also is the Magic Hour only if you're staying at a Disney property? I'm using my Marriott hotel points and not staying on property.

I believe with GAT that you have to go to the ticket booth to pick up your tickets. I believe the person who placed the order needs to be there with a photo ID to get them. You can verify that with GAT. Extra Magic Hour is for on site guests, but Magic Morning is for most 3 day park hoppers. For MM you get one early entry into Disneyland on certain days. Tickets bought through GAT should have MM.

We didn't get an emailed ticket from GAT. Instead you purchase your tickets from them and when you get to the parks you pick up your tickets from the ticket booths using your ID. It's very simple. They also send out actual tickets sometimes. Be sure to ask about what type of tickets you are getting.

I was posting when az4boys was posting and she is correct...the purchaser needs to be there to pick up the tickets.

I used GAT for my last trip to DLR. However, I went into their physical location (as it's only 30 minutes or so from my house) to purchase my tickets. In my case, they had physical tickets that they gave me on site (not a voucher - but actual tickets) during my purchase. Of course, this isn't an available option for those who live outside of Northern Utah. Like others have said, I believe if you order them online you can pick up the tickets from the ticket booths upon arrival. From their website it states:

"TICKETS ARE SET UP ELECTRONICALLY. GO TO ANY TICKET BOOTH AND SHOW PHOTO I.D. AND CREDIT CARD USED FOR PURCHASE TO GET TICKETS. "

I just got tickets through them 2 weeks ago. I purchased them expecting to have to pick them up at the ticket booth when I got to Disneyland. Then, a week later, tickets showed up in my mail box. So not sure how they choose which way they get u tickets but that's how it worked for me.

Thanks everyone. I'm undecided on the quantity of days in the parks. I may not decide until last minute. So if I purchase my tickets a few days in advance, will they immediately be available at the will call booth when I show up at DLand?

I would think so. I would call them and ask. They are very helpful when you call.
