So... Sort of an impromptu thing, but I decided that I am having people over tonight! :woohoo: I have not had people to my new house, and I guess that today just seemed like the right day to do so. Anyway, I have just a small group of friends coming, and I asked each of them to bring somebody (not a date, just another person). Kind of a way for all of us to get to know new people... Is that weird? Now I am kind of scrambling, though... :hourglass Becoming paranoid about the place being clean, comfortable, figuring out what we'll do once people arrive, munchy and beverage options... College was easier than this actual "playing hostess" stuff! I put up some St. Paddy's Day decor, :thumbsup2 since it is my favorite day ever, and I cleaned the toilet, is there anything else for me to do?? HELP! I know it will be fun, but I am a worrier and cannot help it!

Just get the drinks and you'll have a blast! Have fun!

You make it sound so easy! And here I am panicking -- doing laundry, even! What do they care if my laundry is done?! Who knows, but I'm concerned that somehow they'll find the basket in the closet or something! ARGH! I always seem to stress myself out... Any other ideas?

How did it go last night? They probably didn't even notice your laundry was done! All that work for nothing! :rotfl2:
