Get to Speedway from CR

What is the best way to get from the Contemporary Resort to the WDW Speedway....DH will be driving at the Richard Petty experience. Flying in with towncar to resort and using Disney transport. Any help appreciated, thanks in advance, Anna

I was in the same situation last September, trying to get from CR to RPDE at the speedway.

Petty runs a shuttle between the TTC and the track. They have a parking space right in front of the kennel marked with their sign.
I just took the monorail from CR, walked down the ramp at the TTC and waited for the van to come get me.
I was running the early morning session and traveling this way got me there in plenty of time.

You might want to bring the track phone number and a cell phone just in case you need to remind them that you're waiting for a ride.

Extreme8...thank you, thank you, thank you....I will plan to call the track and find out if they still do this...thanks sooooo much for the info. If we needed to take a taxi that would be fine but a "free" shuttle is even better...thanks for the info
