Get something off your chest here!!!

Just because I gave birth to you does not mean I am sharing my breakfast with you. I don't care how adorable you are. My food is mine! Besides I just FED you!!!!
My two chunky corgi are moochers. I look at them while I eat my breakfast and say I didn't eat your food. Why should you get mine?

I opened a can of the food my wife buys for our dogs this morning and my first thought was "dang, this looks better than what I'm eating". Of course it didn't smell better, but it did look better. I have a strong suspicion that what they ate probably cost more than what I ate as well. I believe the word is spoiled. :)

I can't belive they out in a traffic circle just to safe a tree yes I know that tress are important but so are human lifes but the tree won no one know how to navagite that including me, and I should not have to pray for my life every day going to and from work

Are you sure it was to save a tree? Many cities are starting to use roundabouts (I think that's what you mean by traffic circle) where 4 way stops used to be. There are several new ones here where I live and I have friends and family all over the US who say they are popping up all over. It might not be to save a tree, but more to do with traffic flow.

Either way, I hope it gets easier for you to walk through. I know the ones around here could be a challenge if you aren't careful.

That is interesting because here in NJ they are called circles. We have had them since we had roads. The current thing is tearing everything up and getting rid of them. The thought is that out of state drivers can never figure out what to do with them and they end up being dangerous. The mess they replace them with is always ugly.

If you are an empty nester that would explain it. We have only one young adult child at home now and he is moving any day now, maybe. We got the dogs as we were losing kids. They are fairly spoiled.

My wife is away on a trip with her mother and they are sending me texts and pics of the fun they're having. I wasn't able to go this time because of medical reasons and I'm home for the next several weeks with little to do because of it as well. I'm a bit jealous of the fun they're having. Yes, I am so, so thankful that they are spending such quality time together and I know they'll both remember the trip for the rest of their lives. It doesn't change the fact that I wish I could be there enjoying it with them.

Yeah, I know, first world problems and all. With the weekend coming I guess I'm a bit bummed with it all.
So THAT'S why you've been cranky, nothing at all to do with not being able to flush! LOL!

We are just starting to get them and the results are pretty much the same. Nobody knows how to drive through them and they seem to be causing more trouble than they're worth. I wouldn't complain if they turned it all back into 4 way stops, but I doubt that will happen any time soon.

You're probably right, and I'm sure the pups aren't gonna complain a bit. :)

Technically speaking, a roundabout and traffic circle are different.

Although traffic circles and roundabouts use a circular design, they operate very differently. Traffic circles are very large and are designed for high-speed vehicle operation. Roundabouts are designed as small as possible, 16 to 180 feet wide, and operate at 15 mph to 25 mph.

The design of roundabouts forces drivers to slow as they approach them, then limits drivers' circulating and exit speed. It is difficult to pass through a well-designed roundabout above these design speeds.

In addition to slow vehicle speeds, modern roundabouts require drivers to slow and select gaps in the circulating traffic before entering the roundabout at low speed.

Interesting but I can't imagine going over 20mph in a circle either. The difference I have observed is that circles often involve more then a 4way. The one nearest to me that was eliminated has at least 5 branches. Roundabouts that I have been through do seem to almost bring you to a stop before you exit while in a circle you should exit moving. In a circle there is no real sense of rules as to which lane you should be in either, or who has the right of way. Our circles have all become complex intersections with traffic lights and left turn lanes.

I also hate that I live in an expensive shore town and contribute fairly regularly to the income of many local businesses. In spite of this they offer no free or discounted beach badges for locals. You also can not purchase any sort of pass to allow you to use a metered parking spot in front or near your home. In the summer the summer cops seem to delight in ticketing and don't check your tags and say, hey they live here, let me wait a few minutes.

I asked you a question that you would have answered if you had good intentions. The fact that you completely ignored it lets everyone know exactly what you're all about.
