I am never in the correct lane to exist back to the highway, since you have to change lanes mid turn around in one of the turn abounds. I end up going to the next turn around, doing a full circle to come back to exist onto the highway. Then remember to watch people coming at you, because they have no idea that they need to yield.
Turnarounds is someone's idea of the game Frogger.

I can't stand the new Honda Pilot commercial where the whole family starts singing Weezer's Buddy Holly song. It just seems so sickeningly fake. Makes me want to gag and we own two Hondas!! Like the brand, hate the commercial.

1. 500 feet before your turn, engage your indicator light to indicate the direction you are turning.
2. Then, start to slow down.
3. Without coming to a complete stop (assuming you aren't at a light or stop sign, and there's nobody in your way), make your turn.

No, I didn't get this puppy from a rescue.
My last dog was a rescue and she was emotionally messed and and extremely ill behaved.
The last cat I rescued had feline leukemia, even though the rescue swore she tested negative.

I can't stand that the block my office is on is obstructed by two sets of scaffolding and four separate construction projects. The other side of the street is 50% covered with scaffolding as well. It actually takes longer to get to the office.

OMG, this is so my boss & he's on the phone ALL the damn time!!! He used to have a private office & I begged him to get another when we shuffled everyone's desks the last time. Nope, he's in a cube - right next to ME. Ugh.

How the last 4 weeks have been brutal on you and you NEED this time off. I am in a crazy mood, but take all his nasty dishes and everything else and put it in his bed, pile it on.

That's what I did to cure DD of her habit of leaving dirty dishes all over the place. I don't care if I ruined her sheets and comforter. She could either wash them, buy new ones, or sleep in slime. Her choice. She chose to wash them.

She occasionally still leaves a dirty dish or two on the counter or in the sink, but it's a vast improvement over what she was like.

Why do 95% of my airline flights depart and arrive at the 5% of the gates farthest from the terminal? It happened again this past weekend at Newark and St.Louis, and three weekends ago at Philadelphia and Chicago. GRRRRR!!!

I could understand in St.Louis; United has the 4 or 5 gates at the end of one terminal. But I almost always get stuck with the far gates even at the hub airports: United at Newark, American at Chicago, and USAirways at Philadelphia.

That's a good thing, right? I remember when you posted that your schools were changing the start date to before labor day and that it was going to mess up people's vacations.
Glad to hear the powers to be actually listened to you teachers and parents and changed it back. Congrats! I am jealous, ours go back on the 12th. I am not ready, I want more summer!! That would be my getting off the chest, summer vacation is way, way too short. We get out early, third week of May and go back mid-August. It is still cool and rainy when the kids get out and hot as hades when they go back. I would love school to start later and end later so we could enjoy the long, languishing hot days of August.
