I have a strange question for you all with WL mugs...

What color is the inside of your mug and when did you buy it?
Also what size do you have?


This may seem nuts but I've been arguing with my mother that I think they make little changes like this so they know who just bought a mug and who didnt.

It doesn't matter as there are two signs in the Roaring Forks stating that the mugs are good at the WL for your length of stay. I have a mug that is one of those car ones that is green and beige, mostly being beige. I bought it in 2001.

I didn't ask can I use my mugs as many times as I want.

I simply asked what color it was.

I just checked mine--it's black. I bought it in Dec. 2000. We were just there last week, and I noticed the mugs looked exactly the same (on the outside )

We have at least 5 from 4 different trips in 4 years (DH LIKES to get a new one -- we use them daily) and they're all alike. Ths green handle on the last one is slightly different shape.

We have mugs from 1997 and 2002. The car traveling type. The outside is beige and the inside is black on both years. The only difference is the handles. The handles from 1997 are a little flimsier with a slightly different color. The newer handles are much more comfortable!

Ummmmmmmm I didnt' get all hot and bothered about it. I just wanted to let you know in case you didn't know about the signs. If I was going to be nasty then why would I tell you what color mine was? I certainly wouldn't have told you that info if I was all hot and bothered. You seem to be uptight about the whole thing, not me. Geez!

Ours are black on the inside-they are from October 2002-they are the tall slender ones that fit into car cup holders.

Ours is Black. We got our mugs May 1999.

I just took my mug to work today with coffee!

Mine is Green on the inside.....we have several from different trips and they are all green on the inside!

Ooooooops! A correction please from my earlier post!

I was mistaken. I have four mugs that are the car type with black on the inside. I do have one Large Mug from several years ago that is green!

Mine is also a car type green on the inside and beige and green on the outside. We bought ours early Jan. 2002. Use it all of the time.

We bought our last mugs 3 to 4 years ago. The 16 oz. mug is black on inside and the 20 oz. one is white inside.

Oops! I voted for "tan" before reading entire post. The outside of my mug is tan...and...the inside is green! I purchased it in 1995. I still use it all the time and it's showing wear. I'd like to replace it, but, I don't like the new ones!...
Here's another twist on the mugs--Per the bottom of my 1995 mug, it is made by "Aladdin"/thermos co. I think that my 1995 mug is better than the later ones? I could be wrong, but, I think the later ones weren't as heavy/made by a different company? We purchased another one in 2000 (can't find it right now to look) and it doesn't seem quite as heavy, etc.
Maybe it's just me...or...does anyone else know what I'm talking about?

We have large mugs bought July 2001 and the inside is white.

2 white-interiored large mugs from October 2001

from our Nov 2002 trip I have 1 white interior large mug (but a different handle than the earlier 2)
AND
a black-interiored car holder mug - with yet a different handle
these last two were purchased at the same time

I have 2 purchased in Dec 02...The car holder mug is black on the inside, the larger mug is white.


Hmmm....doesn't seem to be a pattern yet...does this mean?????

Just an FYI, but on all 3 visits to WL, we used the same mug. I asked the CM if we should buy new mugs, or if we could use our old mugs, and they said "sure, no problem". Now, we haven't been there since Dec. 2001, so it may very well have changed.
