The Disney Veterans trip of firsts.

See, we just couldn’t make up our minds!

So, what is this trip report all about?
It’s about our summer vacation 2013. Us



this is my dear brother, Thomas, Tom for short,



who loves all things Disney and supports my Disney addiction. He works very hard as a mailman here in Austria all your round and is excellent when it comes to computer questions.
Then there is me, Karin,



teacher in a small village outside our hometown of Linz in Austria. I am trying to juggle school work, which can become overwhelming and planning our vactions.
We both love Walt Disney World and have been twice a year for several years now. A short week in February for half term and a much longer, this year 33 day, vacation in the summer.
In 2009 we went on our, what we then thought was our “once in a lifetime” first cruise on the Disney Wonder and fell in love with cruising and DCL in particular. This summer we became Platinum Castaway Club members and I am “kinda” proud to say, we have several more cruises booked.
In 2011 we became DVC members and fully enjoyed these resorts this summer.
Okay, enough of the introductions. What does this trip report involve?
Well, there were several parts ……

Part one was our trip to WDW and a short three night stay at OKW. For those 3 nights we enjoyed the company of some “cruise friends” who we had gotten to know in 2011.







Part two was a back to back cruise on the Disney Fantasy, an Eastern Caribbean and a Western Caribbean itinerary. Both were new to us, but it did not take us very long to run into some “old” friends.







Part three were 4 lazy days at BCV, where we tried to catch up on laundry, enjoyed some park time and spent QUITE some time at Stormalong Bay.







Part four included a trip to Key West – the real one.







Part five meant going back to OKW for another 5 nights before it was time to head home again.









WE loved our trip and funnily enough after all these years it was kind of a trip of firsts, so I guess I will include a tally of all the first!

First time we visited St. Thomas

First time we enjoyed Satellite Falls
First time we visited Grand Cayman
First time we ordered room service
First time we picked up dessert to go
