Get Away Today tickets

Need some help understanding how this all works. I'm sure it's been asked before and if so I would appreciate the link. So, we've bought park hopper tickets from get away today before so we know how that all goes, but this time around we also bought our character dining and Disneyland Express tickets to/from LAX. I ordered on Thursday, but haven't received any kind of confirmation yet and for some reason I'm a bit nervous (even though we've never had a problem with them before!). Can someone please explain what I need to do now. I know I need to make reservations for the character meal and shuttle, but when we arrive, do I just give them my receipt from Get Away Today as proof of purchase? Any information would be great.

You know, I would call their 1-800 number. I had questions (not those ones) so I called them last year. They are very helpful and can look up your info. quickly.

Great question - I would be interested to know as well - as my mother will be making a purchase and hasn't before with getawaytoday.

When we did our character meal through getawaytoday I believe they gave us the vouchers at the ticket booth when we got our tickets.

We,ve used getawaytoday.com many times, we've never had a problem. When we placed our order in june, we recieved a confermation e-mail, with a pdf attachement about an hour a later. about 10 days later we recieved a packet in the mail with lanyards, pins and a hotel certificate. Getawaytoday.com set up our disney tickets electronically

Thanks for the help. I wondered if it would be a voucher kind of thing since that is what they do with the regular tickets. I think I'll go ahead and call on Monday just to make sure everything is okay since we didn't get a confirmation e-mail after placing the order. Thanks again.

disney801 - you're right, they really are a great company, but I wish you would have given me the code last week so I could have used it! Oh well, hopefully it will work for someone else.

For anyone who wants to know the answers, I called today and was told the transportation to/from LAX and hotel is all done on a voucher that is given to the shuttle. If not the Disneyland Express, make sure to make the necessary reservations and right now there is a deal that kids ride free with a paying adult on the Karmel shuttle.

Character dining tickets are given at the same time you pick up regular park tickets, just like jennifur25 stated.

We've used Get Away Today in the past, but this time around, I've been even more impressed at their service. Very easy to work with.
