Get a postcard sent your children regarding upcoming cruise

This would be a great way to tell kids whose parents are waiting to tell them.

There are a number opf parents who don't tell the kids too early, and then wonder how to tell them.

Kids love to get mail, and what a better piece of mail to get than: "You're going on a Disney Cruise."

That's exactly how I will let my kids find out!! I didn't plan on it being a surprise. I didn't want to let on too early and now we're under 30 days and I'm still trying to find a good way to tell them.

I would for my kids to receive a post card telling them about our upcoming cruise (5/1/04). It is our first cruise so I don't have and post cards to send out but, I will bring some back so that I can pass on some "Magic" to some other kids when we return.

I did something similar to this. I went on a 3-nt in September and Mickey sent my son a postcard from Castaway Cay telling him they couldn't wait to see him in December!

We are taking our daughter on her (and our) first Disney cruise on Nov 9th 4-day wonder. Does anyone have a postcard left? - it would be great if Amanda could get a postcard from the 'princesses' before we get on the boat. I think this idea is great. And of course, when we are back from our cruise I will have cards to return the favor to someone.

The postcards I have are spoken for, but I did send out an e-mail to a few "Disney Friends" and I might have some more DCL postcards soon. When I receive them I will make a post here on this thread and make that known.

If anyone would prefer a greeting card, instead of a postcard, I can print some up. I have a few different Disney fonts in my fonts file. If interested, send me an e-mail or PM.

Bacrd, your grandchildren's postcard from Mickey was mailed out today! I used my daughter's autograph book to try to copy Mickey's signature.

Oh if anyone has any left or can get one we would really appreciate one for our 3 kids. We dont leave for awhile but we are trying to figure out how to tell them and I think this would be awesome! They are small enough to not have any idea about postmarks or time it was sent so I could just keep hold of it until we decide to tell them!

Since we did the 4 day last year I think they would truly understand the whole thing this year!
