Get $25 off your Southwest RT flight (to/from Florida)

Thanks OP! I got a code to use, but now I am wondering if it is worth it to use because you have to book round trip. For years now we've bought one way tickets on Southwest. My family kind of tag-teams and we watch the airfare very closely. We'll snag any drop in price. Its usually just one direction that drops, too........ aargh...what to do? what to do?

I was just thinking the same thing.........

Has anyone used the code with a DING?

The code cannot be combined with a Ding! fare. I know, I tried

What I did find was that booking before the Ding came out gave me better overall price and more flight choices.

We usually do the same thing. However our June flight which I booked in Feb has only gone up. I have also been anxiously watching our Oct trip and it is not moving much at all. Usually we fly Tue or Wed for the best deals but in Oct we are working around 2 college schedules so we have to stick to a Fri night/Sat am and return Sun only schedule. I think if I find a decent fair both ways I will book it and use the coupon if only one of the legs looks decent I may opt to book one ways.

Thanks to a wonderfully generous Diser I was able to save $375 for our DD's school dance team trip to DL. We saved $200 with one code on 8 tickets, $100 on another code with 4 tickets, and $75 on the a third with three tickets. Thank you again for making this happen!!!!

Thanks for posting this- will save us $125!

Will this code work for someone coming round trip FROM Florida to PA?
I don't think so, but just curious as a friend is coming to visit in Oct.

thanks!

My IL's used the code for a trip from Phoenix to Omaha so I don't think you'd have a problem using it to get out of Florida.

Anybody have advice for a previously booked trip? Can I cancel and rebook with the code? Darn I wish I would have seen this sooner! :sad2:

Don't cancel your existing trip tickets until you find and put the seats you want into your cart. Once you've secured your seats so they don't slip away, go through the system to cancel your existing trip and use the funds from that to pay for the new tickets. Although SW's website is pretty good I use two separate browsers for this to be sure the system doesn't get confused.

Be aware your remaining funds will have a 1 year use-or-loose by expiration date of the previous purchase (or exp date of funds used on that).

This really works... Thanks to OP... I remember seeing this thread a few weeks ago, and I finally saw the price I was willing to pay today. Then I remembered about the 25 code.. and checked into it... I went on line and sent myself an e-mail.. and then got the code a few hours later! Whoo hoo!... it saved me 25 on each RT flight.. and we've got 6 people! so that was a huge bonus! :thumbsup2 I was able to get all six RT flights from philly to orlando for under a thousand... plus no baggage fees..!! I want to celebrate now... Awesome!!!

I've tried several times to get that code, but the email never arrives and I check my spam folder too:confused:

Does this sw code work for the new dates that just came out yesterday? I'm on my way to send myelf an email. :)

What it says is that you have to purchase between April 1st & August1st, and fly between June 1st and Decemeber 1st.

Oh.. and my e-mail ended up in my Junk e-Mail folder.. so, check that.. if you're not seeing it in your in-box.

Waht if we are returning on 12/4? does that disqualify us for the coupon?
