Germany to DLP?

Late 2009, we'll be going to Germany, and we really want to go to Disneyland Paris, because we'll be so close!

Does anyone have an idea of what form of transportation can be tooken from Germany to Paris? To get somewhere around or near DLP? Thanks!

You can travel by train to Paris (ICE) or you can rent a car / fly

There are some airlines here in Europe that have reasonable rates!

We live in Germany and will be driving (around 6 hours)

I suppose it really depends a lot on what part of Germany you'll be in, but there's pretty good links to Paris from most major German cities.

The first choice, especially if you're on the western side of Germany is to travel by train. You can get to Paris from Cologne or Stuttgart in under four hours and from Munich in about six. I don't know if any of these trains actually stop at DLRP (unlikely but you never know), but certainly it's no problem getting there from any of the Paris stations. Try using the Rail Europe website (http://www.raileurope.co.uk) to get example train times and fares.

For the further away cities such as Berlin and Hamburg, you're probably better off flying using a budget airline such as Easyjet (http://www.easyjet.co.uk) as if you book early enough, the fares should be fairly cheap and the journey time will be quicker than the train, even when you include the amount of time to check-in and then getting from the airport to DLRP.

Like the others already said: It really depends on where in Germany you will stay.

If you stay in western Germany you can easily drive by car (between 3 and 6h).
Or you can even use the very fast train connections from several German cities. (Munich, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Cologne)

But for the rest of Germany it is the fastest way to fly to Paris. AirBerlin offers many cheap flights to Paris.
