Anyone know what it going on with the rehab by the model train in Germany?

We were in WDW Aug 4-18 and the trains were sectioned off. Ryan(10) was upset, thinking that the trains were being removed. He asked several CM and they all said the trains were not being removed, but being work on. No one knew how long that would take.
