Lisa, that is such great news for you guys!! I will continue to keep you all in my prayers.
I had both girls C-section, and with Carrie I had a spinal done. But when they started inserting the needle into my back, I was having a contraction, so I didn't notice the needle pain LOL. I absolutely hate needles of any kind!!
Robin, KEEP OFF THAT LEG!!

I hope you get it all figured out soon. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to lay around. Listen to the doctors and get better. Sending prayers out your way.
Thanks for keeping us updated with Carol. That is such good news for her! I wish she'd come back, but I understand why she doesn't too. Please tell her we said hello to her!!
Pam, I once again am completely off program. I was in such pain and under so much stress with Mike looking for work, helping fill out applications and such, I was just eating comfort foods. I need to really get this down once and for all!! I know it works, so what the heck is my problem?
Kate, Maui, hmmmm sounds like she needs company! It is cold here now. We are to get rain/snow mix on Friday! I am NOT ready for this weather. Old man winter can go back to where he came from!!! LOL
On a good note, Mike got a job yesterday, finally!! He is going to work for Halliburton. The main office is about 5 miles down the road. This is where the company originated from. His schedule will be something like 8 days on, 4 days off and be on call 24/7 for those 8 days. His starting wage is $13/hr and at the beginning of the year he will get 2 weeks vacation. He can then buy a 3rd week if he wants. Benefits start from his first day on the job.
He will be driving their large cement trucks. Then as he goes up in the company, he will drive the smaller ones, and then the last position will be driving the company pickups and just checking on the cement trucks. The pay scales go up to $20/hr and then it's salary.
I am so excited for him. This is actually the job he was wanting when he got his CDL. When he went to talk to them yesterday, they told him they had already done all the hiring and the training classes had already started. Then a guy we know that works there happened to come along, he and Mike talked a couple minutes, and the human resources guy asked if they knew each other. They explained they used to work at Lowes together, and the guy we know told the other guy he needed to hire Mike and he is a good, hard worker. He hired him on the spot.
This whole job thing just fell together perfectly, and I am taking it as a sign from God.
Thanks everyone for all the prayers. Once again, God has been good to us all, and I am so thankful to him and you all.
I may not be able to get the diet down, but I am forever grateful for the wonderful new sisters I have found.
Ok, got to get a shower. I have more to tell, but I'll be back later.
