GEO-82 Lounge now open at Epcot

I've watched reviews from some vloggers.

I'll just say I don't think this place is for everyone. It's for people who enjoy alcohol forward, strong, sipping cocktails. It's not to pound drinks. 😂

Some vloggers were complaining the drinks they ordered were bitter. Well, you ordered a drink where Campari was listed as one of the main ingredients. If you don't like bitter, stay away from Campari!

We are looking forward to trying if we can get a reservation. I know my husband will love the bourbon, I'll love the peach whiskey sour and the charcuterie board, crab and hummus are getting great reviews. I would imagine it'll be one and done for us, but still want to try it.

I think Disney must know it's going to appeal to a smaller audience, this could be due to the over 21 and higher prices.

I was able to visit on a preview day. We really enjoyed it. It's quite beautiful inside, looking out over "Future World" is cool (the windows are large enough you can see out from anywhere - don't have to be seated at the window), and all the references to Spaceship Earth in the decor are very well done. It's not a super large space. The team is incredibly knowledgeable about both the space and the menu. It's clear that they're all very excited to be there and proud of all the work that has gone into it and that really shined through in a great way.

As japanese maple said above, these are very creative craft cocktails, quite spirit forward, and meant for sipping. Our server was really helpful with steering us toward what we might like and explaining the flavor profile of each drink. They also do have a unique wine and beer list - all smaller producers - so I think everyone could probably find something they like there. My favorite of the drinks I tried was the peach whiskey smash and warning - that one goes down easily and quite smoothly. It even comes with a little cookie (like 1-2 bites) with peach jam because they didn't want to waste any of the peach. The brown butter old fashioned was also a big hit at the table (love the Spaceship Earth stamped ice cube).

As far as food goes, we tried everything but the charcuterie board. The hummus was fantastic although the chips are very thin and hard to scoop with. Also really enjoyed the mushroom flatbread and tuna. I'm not a fan of crab so didn't love the crab cake but others at the table did. Definitely small bites so wouldn't plan a stop here as a full meal.

When we were there it was not full but have seen some say that when full can be very loud. While we didn't experience it, have heard that full sun through the windows mid-afternoon can make the room feel very warm but I'm sure they'll adjust the AC accordingly. Also saw at least one report that they were running pretty far behind reservation time. Because they aren't limiting your time there like at Oga's think they may need a few weeks of operation to get a feel for how long people are staying.

It's definitely pricey but the vibe is great, the drinks and food were high quality, service outstanding. I'll definitely be back. Probably not every visit but it's a nice retreat from the chaos. And, I have to say, adults only was nice. :duck:

Great review, thank you!!!

Disney website has 2 entries relating to GEO-82.

The lunch/dinner menus are the same and only include pricey drinks & snack type items...........not a full meal.

Disney website has changed from what was shown last week. The 'menus' for lunch/dinner were the same and it was only pricey drinks and snack type items..........not a full meal. Today's website removed any menus and now only references those fireworks events. Maybe they are still in the process of getting it all organized?

There are two entries if you search GEO-82. One just purely that: GEO-82 and the other the GEO-82 Fireworks Experience as shown above. A bit different from other cases where you get a drop down menu to pick from breakfast, lunch, dinner ... in this case you have to make a choice in the initial search.
