Genie+ Tip Board error message

Hi,

I have heard this is a fairly common problem but have not heard if there is a fix. When I go into MDE, I can access the "My Day" part of Genie+ but when I click the Tip Board, I get an error message that says

Something Went Wrong
We were unable to populate
your Tip Board completely.
Please try again.
Reload Tip Board (in blue to click)
The rest of the page is blank.

My husband's tip board gave the same error message up until a few days ago but then suddenly it works, he has an iPhone and I have a Samsung.

Any suggestions or known fixes?

Are you International guests? Disney is aware of it and is working on a fix but it hasn't been fixed for all phones or countries yet.

I have an iPhone in Canada and got that message originally but now it's working.

Yes, we are also Canadian so I guess that's it. Hopefully they have a fix for Samsung phones soon!

Any idea if it will start working once we arrive at WDW?

Others have reported that it does work once they entered the US. Hope the same works for you or better yet, that they fix it soon.

I had great success working with Disney IT a couple of weeks ago when I raised my concern using the help function on the app. I received a personalized response within 48 hours and it was working on my iPhone shortly after that. Might be a good option to let them know it's not working for your Samsung phone.
 

I'm in the same boat. Despite some tips from Disney I.T. my galaxy is still having issues with the tip board and no personal greeting on my home page. Wife's iPhone has full functionality. Any global fix yet or tips beyond dumping my cashe and data via the settings tab? I am in central Canada
