Genie + and park hopper?

Hello!

I’ve read some of the other blogs/forms and haven’t seen this addressed (my apologizes if I missed it somewhere). What is happening with the new genie plus when you have park hoppers? If I purchase the $15 option to get to skip the lines on the less popular rides and then switch parks on the same day, does it transfer over? We always do park hoppers and have them for our upcoming trip but if we’re not able to park hop until 2pm AND have to pay extra each time for the $15 genie plus option it really doesn’t make sense to do both together.

Since the price is per ticket per day, this includes Park Hopper.

I'm assuming that as soon as you scan into your second park with your Magic Band, the app will see you are in the new park. The same way that, when RoTR first launched, you could not secure a boarding group until scanning in at the park. The technology is there.

It switches over. Not only that, you can make Genie+ reservations for your next park, while still in the first park. So at noon, as you eat lunch at DHS, you can reserve a 2:00pm G+ reservation at Epcot.
