Genie and LL question

I am boarding flight and don’t have time to research. When we visited in March I was able to switch my park for LL selections to the park we planned to hop at 2. When I tried to do that this morning it wouldn’t let me pick the park because we didn’t have reservations. Example I wanted to get Epcot LL tonight but we plan to do magic kingdom when we arrive. Do I need to check into Magic before I can switch the parks to get Fastpasses at Epcot? Thank you. I hope this makes sense lol

You should be able to book LL reservations for Epcot. Times displayed to you will be after 2PM.

Do you have park hopper tickets? Are you staying at a Disney resort?
