generous gift, wanted to share

DH and I decided to surprise DD with a trip to Disney to celebrate her 13th. Birthday. Since it falls during the free dining we decided to splurge and stay at CBR. We’ve always stayed at POP. DD’s grandpa called yesterday and said that for her birthday they would like to pay the difference for us to stay at AKL w/savanna view. WOW!!! DD and I were up until midnight last night talking about our trip that is still 6 months away.
I know this would be better posted on the Resort site, but... I would like to hear other opinions on AKL.

I've never been to the AKL, though a friend was there in February and LOVED it!!

But I wanted to post in the hopes that your DD's grandpa is looking for a nice NY family of 5 to adopt????

Awwww..... what a wonderful gift! You will have such a wonderful time. I've never stayed at AKL, only been there for dinner at Boma, but it's such a gorgeous resort! Have a blast!!

I love Grandpa's! My grandpa bought my DD her first bike, for her 2nd birthday. He passed away last month, at the wonderful age of 95!

Congrats to your family! Enjoy your trip to AKL, I'm sure you will LOVE IT! What a special 'turning a teenager gift'
