Ok I know you can't predict the weather for April.. but I am talking about the PM daily thunderstorm we always get when we are there in the summer. It is everyday and we bring the ponchos everyday.. This year we are going in April- do I need to carry them everyday? (of course if it looks like rain I'll bring them but I just don't know if April is daily rain month?)
Oh no I think I have become one of "those" posters....the will it be hot in July, how crowded will it be, will there be a hurricane in Sept?.... Now do you need ponchos in April???

AND- it is better to keep a cheapO poncho you bought at Walmart with you, then buy one at WDW where they are ridiculously expensive!!! This is my first trip in April to!!

I live in Florida and it rarely rains in April. I am an overpacker, but I wouldn't bring the ponchos. April is normally beautiful weather. Have a wonderful time.

I would have them in my suitcase, but i would look at the wethaer and the sky before I carried them to the park. We have gone for a total of 30 days in April over the past couple of years and we have only had two days of rain and those were passing showers, not a steady rain.

I found adult size ponchos at K-mart in the camping section for .99!!! I grabeed several to take with us and we can just toss them at the end of the day rather than trying to fold them back up. They are folded up really small (about the size of a man's wallet) :thumbsup2

Some of the cheap ponchos cling to you uncomfortably because they are so thin and light (sheer?). Unfortunately I don't know which brands they are.

One poncho I got (not at Disney) had the opening between the body and the hood too small for me to squeeze my head through.

I still remember the summer rainstorm where I actually saw the wall of water advancing on me (at All Star Sports). I ran (for the awning by the bus stops) but the rain shield overtook me and I got soaked.

The plural is ponchos (no e). Maybe we all need to learn a bit of Spanish. Now who spelled it (incorrectly in the singular) "potatoe"?
