General Store at BWV

Could anyone tell me the hours?? We will be arriving Sunday night and would like to pick up milk, etc.... Anyone that knows the closing and opening times , I would greatly appreciate it!!

Hi, I believe the General Store is open until 11pm.Maybe someone else can verify this info.

Yep, 11pm is right. I was in there several times last week. It was always busiest from 8-11. Lots of folks buying a single cold beer to sip on the boardwalk.

Does anyone have actual photos of the inside of that general store ? It would be great to actually see some of the shelves with the merchandise there, sort of like preparing to shop there in the future. When I get there in December I hope to get a few photos of the things that they are actually selling.

Anyone have anything like that ?

hi claudia: no pictures, but there was a grocery list with prices on the members only site under the planning section. it listed brands of items as well - like kellog's pop tarts. the prices are a bit higher than off site and home, but not outrageous. besides, you're on vacation!

It is really a clothes/plushy store. The 'general staore' part is smaller than 90% of the gas station/mart places you see with about the same selection.

The store is one of the larger general stores in the DVC family, but like one person said the food part is small as it is in all the general stores. You won't have trouble finding places to eat over there, so many people enjoy the morning paper and breakfast right on the Boardwalk.
