General Public Codes Released Today

We're staying at POLY 6days/5nights end of Oct family of 5 [children are children on DDP]...we're on DDP....6 days base tix.

I had called last night and made a 2 room reservation with 9 day base MYW + dining for 9 nights (12/13-12/22) for 3 adults and 2 children at POP for $4275.

Just called and applied code ZQH to both packages and price dropped to $3604!!!!!!!!!!! That's a saving of $670+



Plus I only had to wait 20 min to get to CM and had it all squared away in about 15 min.

Now if only Dec will get here!!!!!!!!!!!

ok ok I know after the second time I said I was done, well I just called back again ( less than 10 min wait ) and once again I was told nothing available anywhere for my dates.
The CM I had was really sweat, she said that basically all the rooms were gone when the visa deal came out,( she said there were very very limited amount of rooms available for the general public. )

Oh well I guess since I have gotten great deals in the past it all evens out in the wash , or at least that is what I am tring to convince myself.

We are going December 4-8. We had booked AAA for CBR. We changed to CSR this morning and saved $76.48/room, but since we have 2 rooms, the $153 will certainly help pay for our rental car! Every little bit helps.

For those unsuccessful I can not stress enough the importance of continuously checking in the coming days/weeks. A lot of those rooms may just be on holds that never book, people change resorts etc. There may be more availability later on........

Just called, only on hold about 5 minutes. We are already booked for 2 rooms at ASMovies 12/11-12/15. We had AAA rate for 1st room but when my MIL decided to go AAA no longer available. I was trying to get her rate down. ASMusic and ASSports were the only values offered, POR was the only mod and was told WL not availabe(didn't ask about any other deluxes). I left our res as is because I am happy with our resort, happy with my AAA rate, and she is paying for her room so her rack rate doesn't bother me much either.

Finally got through and NO discounts available on our dates. We have three rooms booked at WL courtyard view and one campsite at FW. Nada. We are staying 11/29 and 11/30.

Oh well. Doesn't hurt to try.

I have the 40% off pin code from Feb.

So I call just to see if I could get something cheaper and the CM said no the new code won't be better than what you have and he didn't even give me prices on anything. I was wanting to see if I could get Poly I figured it would be more but that was ok I was also interested in GF, BWI, BC and YC. I had another post I started because I don't know what is a good deal or not we have only been on site once.

Here is what I have is it as good of a deal as the new code? If anyone gets a price comparable to our will you let me know what price yours was. Thanks!!!!

I believe it's the same type of discount. No difference other than the fact that you have have to be a Disney Visa credit card accounholder to use those codes (ZQL - Magic Your Way Package, ZQM - Magic Your Way Package with Dining) and codes ZQG & ZQH (Code ZQG package no dining, Code ZQH package with dining) are for everyone else.

Just got off the phone. I tried the codes ZQG,ZQH and nothing was available for my dates. Then I tried FL rates for room only. She told me it would be $60 more, because it would be under the new pricing. Meaning some of my dates would be under "holiday" rates. I asked her " doesn't that start next year"? She said some of the discounts are already in the system and our in affect. That would explain why some people only got $20 dollar difference. I guess I'll stick to my AAA rate. Well,

This all started 2 weeks ago when I booked reservations for Oct 5-15th for my partner and myself and wanted CSR, but could not get it, so took POR.

Several days later I was able to get us a split ressie for 5 nights in each resort. Tried every day since then trying to get the whole room only ressie at CSR. No dice.

Monday this week I called to see what the ressie rates where and such with the Disney Visa AND see if I can get all of the nights in CSR, still a no go and the rates looked interesting. I took the preemptive strike and changed everything over to DMY plus dining. The 10 nights was a little over $3,000.

I was tempted to change it over to the AP room only rates, but held off to see if the MYW discounts get released today. YAY..I get an email from TGM that new rates are up.

I called and proceeded to be on hold for about 45 minutes. Once I was talking to a woman, she said...Sorry the station is down for upgrades right now, but would take my phone number and call me back..I thought no way am I letting this go yet. So plied her with questions about changing things and see If I could apply the discounted rate.

She talks to her superviosr and says the only resort that has the discount is the cabins at For Wilderness, I say no thanks to that. Then ask about changing the entire ressie over to AP room only rates and see about that. About this time, the computers were back up so we were able to really work on my ressie to see what we could work out.

30 minutes later (I kid you not!) it seemed that POR has the discount on my nights on Oct 10-15 (the exact opposite of my original stay there I might add) and then I had her look to see if I could get the entire stay that way...no dice.

We ended up getting POR with my AP room only rate for the first 3 nights for $418, then next 7 nights for MYW w/Dining for $1,470 plus 1 day pass for each of us of course

So the total of our stay is $1,888. This is saving us like $600 or so, even with the added cost of meals for 3 days.

One thing I can say about the discounts this year, it was very VERY picky about which resorts gad them and which didn't and things were very weird on nights it offered it in some resorts and not others. Was very frustrating not getting what we wanted and taking almost 1hr 20 minutes on the phone, but POR is our 2nd fav resort, so we ended up ok

That was a remarkable code and few come down the road that good any more. You have a great rate and will not do better with any of the new codes - no 40% off anything now!

And at that time of year, almost nothing is available - have been trying for a few days with AAA, VISA and AP codes - most Fri and Saturday nights are not available at all - some dates Sun thru Thursday had good availability with a passholder rate,but we must include the weekend.

We wanted FQ for Nov 27-Dec3 and had to take POR.Would all the moderates price out the same as long as they were same room(standard)?

As far as I know, everything else being equal, yes, they would price out the same. The key is which moderate has the room type you want on the dates you want to be there with the discount. I couldn't keep my king room with the discount at POR but was able to get one at CBR.

anyone else get poly with code? I've been up since 6am waiting for my travel agent from MJ agency to see if she could get me the poly with any code. nothing yet! But I went to breakfast with my daughter and we say mickey pancakes in NH on the menu, I sprayed my poly spray from the gift shop there and i rubbed my lucky tiki so lets hope I get my pixie dust soon! just had to vent.
