We are at CSR from 12/8-12/14, 2A, 1 Jr, 1 child with dining and 6 day ph. Called at 7:10 this morning. They said wait time was 4 minutes but it was 40. Got through and saved $311 on our package. Went from $2768 to $2457. That's a nice savings just before the holidays.

Waited for an hour and finally talked to a wonderful CM. She couldn't find anything for my dates at the Poly Dec 5-9 using ZQH and tryed yet again on my Visa ZQM code. Nothing, nada, zilch, zero.... All they had available was the FW cabins and Saratoga Springs. Even tried upgrading my Dec 1-5 reservation at AKL with no availability.

But she did mention to keep calling back because the chances of people cancelling are so great that Poly could open up.

Here is the deal we got so far with using Visa code.

Dec 1-5 AKL standard room
8 day park hopper
dining plan
Price $1794.36

Dec 5-9 CSR standard room
1 day base ticket
dining plan
Price $807.21

Total $2601.57

The total is only $13 more than the original price of us staying at CSR the 1-9. Hey I'll take AKL for four nights for $13 more, even if it is a standard room...

She just called me back. Said she is still having problems with her computer but that the code is valid for my reservation ( how does she know this is her computer isn't working) so now I have to wait for her to call back again.

If I already paid $600 on room only, will it go towards a package if I book one today? Or do i have to pay $200 towards the package again>?

I had a room only booked. Two days ago I tried to apply the Visa code to it and couldn't. They had to cancel me existing reservation, credit my credit card, then rebook as a pkg with me repaying. If I had had a pkg booked originally they could have just modified it. Confirmation numbers for pkgs have eight digits, whereas confirmation numbers for room only ressies have twelve digits.

Oh yeah, I also had to change resorts to get the discount as the discount wasn't available for my resort for my time frame.

I finally got off hold after 35 minutes. Did not have any availablity for ASMO for 11-15 to 11-25. So I changed resorts to CSR and still saved 140.60! Yeah! We have only stayed at a value in past. This will be our first moderate resort! I am so excited!!!!

I held for about 30 minutes and had a fabulous CM. My CSR reservation lowered from just over $2240.00 to 1626.86. My dates are 11/30 - 12/09.

A savings of over $600!!!

Doing the happy dance at work this morning!

They may be having trouble with the computers. When I called this morning the CM said it was taking 5-7 minutes to process ANY change to a reservation--whether it was the code or a room request. She didn't even want to take our deposit while I was on the phone with her because she said it would take more time and that I would be better off calling later today or tonight.

I jokingly asked her, "Since when does Disney NOT want my money?" She laughed. I told her I'd call back another day to put down my deposit.

I held for 1 hour 41 minutes, and got through
I had a previous package reserved for CSR water view. We kept that as it was (I didn't even ask about other resorts) and I saved between $200-$300

This makes me very happy! Now I just need to find some good deal on airfare

AMEN to that, I work for myself also and today that's a good thing! Hope you get through this try...

I got through finally (on the cell phone) and the CM is going to have to call me back as the computers are very slow. Hoping that the price still goes through...have to move to POR from POR FQ but will save $362.32 so I can handle that!

Now waiting for my friendly CM to call me back
