Good morning!
Today's my day off!!! OK, it isn't really - it's just my 'not-going-to Uni-day' so I have to do all the chores and a fair bit of studying but I don't have to physically leave the house... The Buildings Control inspector (or whatever he/she's called) is due to come and look at our footings and drains that need moving some time this morning - I do hope my presence isn't required as I know nothing about either!!! We shall see...

Time for a coffee now and then it's out with the vacuum - I can't study in an untidy house...

We took her when she was 5 and she loved it, she has actually asked to go back. I was worrying would look odd going to a fine dining place alone with a child. I will just have to prepare myself for the disaproving looks if I dare to have a cocktail or glass of wine with my meal.

What are you like......if you can't go out for a nice meal with your dd in wdw then where on earth could you???? You'll be fine and there is nothing wrong with having a cocktail or two on your birthday!

Morning....well yesterday I slipped over in the shower, whilst having plastic bags on my bad foot, so I ended up back at hospital having my foot redressed and a warning about being careful off the nurse. So today I have been threatened to not have a shower, or even move off the sofa haha...im in for a fun day....NOT!

Oh no your poor thing. Make sure you do rest up.

You gotta learn to love the looks, Claire!!! You should have seen the ones I got when, having battled through the insanity that is getting into Akershus, I plonked myself down at our table and said to our server, "I don't care about the food right now but I do need a drink! Do you have anything alcoholic and fizzy??!!" She did and it was delivered promptly but a lot of heads turned our way!!! However, it wasn't all bad as a lady seated behind us (with 2 little princesses having a meltdown) looked longingly our way said, "OMG!!! I'm gonna order one of those!!!" So I felt I liberated her too...

Morning all - well, today is my last day at work before the holiday and I am really struggling to concentrate. Still got so much to do and not enough hours in the day to get it done at the moment.

My clever DH fixed our boiler last night so at least we won't freeze when we get home from WDW.

Morning all, i'm enjoying a few days off after working all weekend. Work have agreed my leave for New York so its all go just waiting for hotel confirmation

I have to catch up with washing & ironing. Might also try & chase up my transfer this week too

Nothing exciting happening over here today. I took my mum into Coventry this morning, then popped to Tesco on my way home (woo, the excitement ). Just a bit of housework to do this afternoon

Typical my 1st day off & the weather is lousy

I'm going to start doing some of my Xmas shopping to get it out of the way. Most of it done online as its usually cheaper & I get cashback/airmiles or nectar points

I have found out that i'm off work for Christmas eve & day unless I get my transfer as it means I will be changing rotas.

I've had one heck of a busy day, as well as the school runs I've been back and forth to two supermarket (don't ask) the bank, doctors, tennis club and I managed to fit in a gym session too

Now it's homework and dinner etc etc and this evening I will mainly be listing clothing items on ebay

Just been out to get our fireworks for our little bonfire evening We have got the non banging ones due to my little niece & nephew & the dog.

Can't wait as my dad is doing a bbq, its going to be a good evening. Just hope it doesn't rain
