I HATE the next sale - looks like a jumble sale to me I'd rather pay more and be able to shop in sainty

I think exactly the same. It's amazing how scruffy the Next clothes look once they go onto the sale rails.

Morning Nat, hope you have a good day. I will just be doing the final things for my holiday. Talking to my DS20's girlfriend who's come to stay for a few days (1st girlfriend to do that) and trying to have a more relaxing day than I did yesterday.

I am going to potter about this morning doing & tidying up then later on I am going to meet hubby at the cinema once he finishes work, we will probably watch The Hangover (before it finishes) as we have been wanting to see it for ages but not got round to it yet....although we may not be able to resist Harry Potter.

Yuck, it's a horrible day here. I've got a day off, so I'm taking Kerry for her final HPV jab soon, then I'm off into Nuneaton, then the highlight of my day will be going to see Harry Potter tonight - have a great day everyone

I've had a fun morning so far. I did my daily check at the rate on fairfx & it had jumped up to $1.6200 for card top ups & $1.6010 for cash so I just ordered my cash (I have already filled our cards), I am please with the rate I compared it to the Post Office which was 1.5825 (cash) so I am very happy!

Then the postman knocked with some goodies that I ordered for my Fish Extenders & the magnet sheets I need for my cruise magnets!

Claire - Did you have to bath Bailey? I remember my mom's dog doing that once - there is no way that I was bathing the pond ridden dog! haha

There is no way that I will be going to the Next Sale. I cannot understand why people camp out for it! I know some of their stuff is very nice but it's not worth camping out for.

Well the Yankee Night was a sucess last night, apart from when there was a big bang and we all looked up and there was a huge crack in the suspended ceiling, something had fallen off the concrete roof above and smashed through! Luckily DH was able to get the ladders out and see what was up there, it turned out to be a peice of what we think is plasterboard which was stuck over some kind of vent thingy. I need to contact the builders and Management company this morning to show them and get them to come and check that nothing else is going to fall out of the sky - I felt a big like Chicken Little! I am so thankful that there was nobody stood under the area where it happened as if it had come through completley then it could had seriously injured someone.

Yeah we did Gem, straight away with a freezing cold hose pipe.....tbh the sun was out & it was really hot so I think she quite enjoyed it.

Having a mixed day. DS13 has finished school for us to go away tomorrow and DS16 has had a letter saying the free newspaper he delivers is packing up next week and have given him a week's notice that he's lost his little job. He's not bothered, he didn't really want it from September (he's getting EMA and thinks he's going to be raking it in £20 per week!) but I feel rather upset about him losing his 1st job.

I am so happy!!!

I was just doing my daily check on the online adr system.....as you do! and I only managed to bag myself an adr for dinner at Ohana!!!!! I have been trying to get it every day since my 90 day window opened with no luck until now!!!

It worked out perfectly as I wanted it for one of the 4 days we are at the Poly, our first night is the only time during our whole trip that we will be able to catch SpectroMagic which is at 8pm, followed by Wishes at 9pm, our Ohana table is at 9.50pm - perfect!!! It certainly beats the counter service meal I had planned for that night!
