General chit chat thread.

I'm beginning to get bored with not having to go to work. Most of this year has been training or 3rd manning with my job. Now I have finished & i'm not on shift until Saturday.

I have even cut the lawn this morning:rotfl2:

havnt joined in with the chit chat before what with the kids being ill:sad2:
but today i received my new tinkerbell pin and i love it :flower3:

I really must be getting old as i been having afternoon naps lately...i'm only 26 :lmao:

Oh well, it is Swine Flu at school - 8 of the year 4 class are off (not confirmed in all though.)

I ordered my US dollars today and got home to find my park tickets have arrived at the Disney store. I'll have to pop into Kingston to get them. The holiday is finally feeling closer.

It at my DD school too (think its in most now?), though doesn't seem to be spreading though it was confirmed last week.

I am waiting for DBF to finish work so we can go out.

Hi everyone, just saw the chat about the Monsoon sale and thought I'd remind everyone that the Next sale starts this Saturday. Also, anyone interested in buying a Merlin pass - they have 20% off at the moment. I wonder whether we should start a 'bargain' thread where people give tips on sales and money off offers? I love a good bargain.:rotfl:

I HATE the next sale - looks like a jumble sale to me:rotfl: I'd rather pay more and be able to shop in sainty lol. I got my dress for graduation from Next.

Hi everyone. I am back home now....it was so nice to get out of the house this afternoon. Well it was really lovely afternoon with the exception of the wasp that stung me on the head! :headache: <----that was me. :lmao: It really hurt. :rotfl2:

Oh yeah & then Bailey decided to jump in a rancid pond. She managed to get out on her own before we got to her and then she ran around the other side & lept back in & swum around until Lee dragged her out. :confused3 She is such a dopey mare! She was fine though and even like be hosed down with the freezing cold hose pipe.

aww bless her, though it does sound gross too,:)

We don't seem to have it here at all (touch wood :wizard:), I don't know anyone with it or know anyone who knows someone with it :confused3 Dh has a sore throat today tho, I'm trying to persuade him to quarantine himself in the shed :upsidedow

Don't worry Jen, I am sure you will be fine.

Me & my hubby have had a cold/sore throat/congested/aching etc for the past week or two there is a lot going around at the moment.

I bought my graduation dress from Next too. It was vintage Next though, as I graduated in the early 90's.:rotfl: *sigh* Wish I could still fit into it.;)

Nat wow 7 kids, you deserve a medal and you know I'm with you on the Neighbours thing, watch it every day :rotfl:

No reports of swine flu here yet and hopefully as we only have 3 more days at school it will stay that way!

My youngest is about to leave primary school and last night it was her show, she was Maid Marian and in one part had to hold Robin Hood's hand, her face was priceless, the look of disgust was hilarious :rotfl:

Does anyone else here play golf?

I dont think Next existed when I graduated :rotfl: I got my graduation dress from Laura Ashley

I went to the Monsoon sale - found the dress for my bridesmaid 50% off but only in larger sizes (she is a size 8).

Got myself a dress for work (boring!) but nothing exciting. I don't think my body shape works in Monsoon - I am too short, and big chested!:lmao:

great idea to have chit chat thread. mind you im not much of a chatter :rotfl2: just prefer to sit back and read..

i know exactly what u mean when you say the next sale is like a jumble sale. lots of people love it though. :goodvibes
