Afternoon everyone. I had an interesting night at work. Saw quite a few dishy firemen during our work

Our shift ended up being 14.5 hours long due to an RTA we were attending (why can't people drive sensibly when its wet) & I was spoken too like a bit of dirt by an ambulance officer we requested

I'm so glad I have the next couple of days off & no more nights until the end of the month Means I can start pricing NY for my friend & I

I spent the morning shopping for me for a change and managed to get a few tops, a swimming cap and toiletries. Okay, so eldest DD did get party shoes, a dress, a jeans belt and some alice bands

After eating my lunch I prepared a roast for tonight then I went to the gym - shock horror I did half an hour on the bike followed by a swim and a short time in the spa It was nice and I do feel better tonight for doing some exercise today

I'm looking forward to the second episode of Flashforward tonight, will anybody else be watching?

Thanks, Joanne - he seems quite a bit better this evening but I think I'll keep him home one more day just to be sure... I'm so pathetic - I just love having him around!!!

And I have to get back to the gym!!! I've hardly been since the start of July and I'm starting to feel the ill effects... As for Flashforward - I really wanted to see that but forgot, missed the start so guess I'll be waiting for the DVD box set now...

Anyway, I've just done something my DH tells me is quite mad (and he knows me!) - tho' to me it seemed incredibly sane!!! I've decided to go to DLP for the day so I've booked a Eurostar ticket for November 5th!!! I'm going to buy the cheapest annual pass on the day and I can't wait!!!

Wow - I wish I lived that close for day trips Karen for the Annual pass - if you by the cheapest one (Francillian) you cannot use it on day of purchase but 3 days after ! If you want to use it on the day it would be the Fantasy or Dream Just shout if you need any more details

Thats great. I have done a day trip by Eurostar before. With the AP you have excuses to go back time & time again

Thanks Jackie! Just checked out the AP details (or should I say Passeport!?) and decided the Fantasy is best for my purposes as it incorporates a store discount!!! I do have one quick question - any idea where I'd find the list of blackout dates..?

The site I use for the blackout dates it updating at the mo but have asked the question on DLP board So an answer will be wth you soon
