General chit chat thread.

 Welcome home Ms Tart, it's great to have you back. Glad you had a fab trip and I can't wait to hear all about it

Welcome back Karen:goodvibes

I have finished worked till the weekend:woohoo: Had a reasonbly quiet shift but it involved long jobs but they left us on station for 3 hours which is always nice on night shifts:thumbsup2

Welcome back Karen. Hope you had a lovely time.

I have got 2 workies replacing boards round my house and garage today, moving on to windows and doors on Thursday. They seem to be doing a good job and cleaning up as they go but will glad when they are gone.

Just popping in to say "hi!" I returned from our most fab WDW/DCL trip this morning and have spent the day chilling out with my DH and DS - I have sooo missed my menfolk...

It's going to be a bit of a shock plunging back into real life tomorrow morning (a cruel 9am start, if I remember correctly) but I'm actually looking forward to starting Uni, getting back to the gym and losing those inevitable post-hols pounds - bring it on!!! ;)

Hope everyone is well and I'll catch up with you all properly over the next week or so...

Welcome back, glad you had a great holiday.

-----------------------------------------

I appear to be sorted with enrollement now though hope I haven't spoke to soon. I was enrolled on the wrong course for some reason.

Glad you have managed to sort out enrollment. What uni are you studying at?

Morning everyone. Hope you all had a good weekend.

I am off in to town today, then later I will hopefully be finishing off editing all my photopass pics.

Morning (just about) DISpeeps!!!

Had my first serious lecture and seminar of year two this morning - Criminological Research Methods. Was a little manic getting up and out as I'm having trouble organising myself after the extended break - hopefully I'll crack it soon... ;)

Taking a short break as DS is off school sick so I've popped home to see him before heading back to a Developmental Psychology seminar... I also need to order a load of texts this afternoon - thank goodness for Amazon Prime...

Oh and it's raining but I can't find my umbrella... :headache:

Have a good day, everyone...

Welcome home Karen! Hope you had a great holiday.

Thank you! I had a fab time, hun - one of the best ever (tho' I think I say that every time...!) TBH it seems a bit of an age away already... Isn't it always the way..?

How exciting Nat - I remember when mine arrived.....I was grinning like the Cheshire Cat all day! :ccat:

Hope Samuel is feeling better soon Karen. Glad you managed to get yourself off to Uni this morning, must have been a struggle. I know Lee has had difficulty getting up at 5.15am , I haven't even heard him which is unusual as before the holiday I was getting up with him.

Well I changed my plans & am going to go in to town tomorrow now as my mum wants to come with me. I have just had my Next Christmas catalogue delivered so I am going to sit down with a cuppa & spend more money! :lmao:

:wizard: Good Luck at getting back into the swing of Uni Karen. Will you be doing a trip report ? I hope so, even if it's just a thread full of photos :thumbsup2

Have fun browsing your Christmas catalogue Claire :)

I've had a rather boring morning, I just popped into Cov with my mum, then I called in at Tesco on my way home and spent some of my clubcard vouchers on selection boxes, choccie crimbo decorations, Terry's chocolate oranges and advent calendars :santa:

:rotfl2: you must have nearly finished your shopping now !

Have fun browsing your Christmas catalogue Joanne :)

:confused3 ;)

It was a real let down to be honest. Usually they have a whole seperate gift catalogue but this year it is in with the clothes & is just christmas table settings.

You did well Mandy. I haven't even thought about my Christmas food stuff yet, last year I was so early with everything as we went to WDW on 2nd Dec but this year I am late (in comparison).....I guess I've still got a while yet though. ;)

Thank you, Mandy. I shall do a trippie - tho' it might have to be a bit short and sweet!! I've finally uploaded all my photos now (that's a saga in itself as I'll explain in the report) and once I get a grip on my timetable, I'll get on with it... :thumbsup2

I had a spare £10 voucher in my bag, and I was determined not to spend it on boring shopping, it's more fun buying crimbo goodies :santa:
