I am thinking about booking the disney med cruise for 2011 as we won't be going to Disney untill 2012 after next year as I want DD to experience something new and then go back to Disney for the new fantasyland. I can't wait till monday now and see what the prices are like.

I have been busy spring cleaning the whole house, yes I know it is a bit late but better late than never.

Just took eldest son down to Nottingham Uni so am missing him, the youngest goes to our local uni but has a uni flat so he isn't at home either. However, he pops back regularly.

Getting the house some new windows, boards and doors also treating the garage too, next week. I am not looking forward to having workmen about the place but relieved they are getting done as DH kept dragging me round window showrooms, almost as boring as B & Q.

The uni year goes so fast, my sister went back last week to Reading, she has a house now with friends. I am planning on going down to stay with her next month as she wants to show DD London as she has never been.

Thanks, I am thinking of asking my mum if she wants to go as I think it would be something she would enjoy as I don't feel 100% brave enough to do it on my own and there is no way I would ever get DBF on a cruise ship, I can never get him to do anything I want to do. I am booking DLRP for spring as he said he will go there, he want go in January when it is cold.

I've had a trying day today. Paul's dad was rushed into hospital with a suspected stroke this morning. Thankfully he's back at home now after lots of tests, but he certainly had us worried for a while. No idea what was wrong with him, but he's got to go back for more tests

Hope he is okay, my grandad had a minor stroke a few years ago which wasn't picked up to a while later, he is fine though now.

My uni lecturer has told us we will get sick be off ill when we go into nurserys in november! my DD had a bug first week back at school.

Hope your FIL is ok. It could simply be an infection as it shows the same symptoms of a stroke sometimes. We took a patient in the other day, we got the call of a possible stroke but when we took his temp it was 40 degrees & we are certain that he had an infection as he had no weakness.

I have just been on a mini shopping spree, I have treated myself to a couple of books, dvd's & computer games. I finally got round to spending my birthday money.

I went to get the new Dan Brown book in Asda as it was £5 last week as soon as I picked it up the lady took the ticket away so I didn't buy it. Good job as its gone up to £9 something so I bought it for £7 on Amazon & got my nectar points
