GEICO commercial: anybody else cant stand

that guy at the beginning? I swear I have to walk away from the TV or change the channel. I admit tho I do love the woodchucks. If they would just get rid of that annoying man!

I can't stand ANY of their commercials. If I'm quick enough I either hit the mute button or change the channel.

I guess they do what they're supposed to though--grab attention. Too bad they don't keep attention...

They usually always keep mine because I find them humorous. I don't mind that guy cause he is incidental to the commercial. He's there just to get your attention and obviously, it works.

Sorta OT, but I hate the commercial where the woman in the hotel yells at the gecko for not remembering her. Maybe I have a dirty mind, but she's yelling at him like he dumped her and all I can think about is that she must have had a fling with a gecko back in 2003. It's so stupid.

has one were this girls is talking to her boy friend and ask him how is going to pay the morgage with his good look, how she wants to go to the ice capades, how he get a glazed look in his eyes when her mother talks to him.. etc,.. in the background they show pictures of the bike and give it a female voice, like lets have a couple of beer, what is mother. . so on

it makes it look like all women can do is nag.. he lives on a the bike...


the other one i hate is the mayham guy..

I like the woodchuck one okay.

I used to think the Gecko was likable, but now he just seems kind of like a smart-alec to me or something. I mostly hear him on the radio, but I always turn it.

I actually always liked the Caveman ones. They never did get on my nerves, although a whole sitcom about him was a dumb idea.

And I like the weird ones with the stack of dollars looking at or talking to people.

Is that the man with the deep voice? Yes I hate it. I try to watch my shows on the DVR so I can skip the commercials cause I really hate them all. LOL

For some reason the man at the beginning of the commercials remind me of the guy from the video you see before riding Tower of Terror, the one from the twilight zone ..they kind of look and sound alike to me. But I think some of their commercials are funnier than others.

I don't like any of the Geico commercials. I find them all highly annoying or really stupid and pointless. Same thing with Flo for Progressive insurance. There's more that had decent commercials and then went the way of the others, and I started to hate them too.

I still prefer watching any Allstate commercial over any other. Their marketing works best for me.

I really enjoyed those commercials, have not seen one in awhile though. One Sunday paper there was an ad with a popout stack of bills with eyes. I cut it out and put it on a random bookshelf. It took DH a couple days to notice, but he laughed for days over that. Such a great ad campaign!

Although I never liked him in The Brothers McMullen or She's The One, I don't mind him in the commercials, and I'm glad he's still working.

And I think the Rod Serling voice is on purpose...

The honest abe one is my favorite. Where he can't tell a lie when his wife asks him if her butt looks big. I think they're all pretty funny though. I didn't get the snowball fight one but I'm not a sports fan.

Oh I love the Geico commercial with the little pig "Weeeeeeeing" all the way home!! Then when he gets there he acts all cool--- I laugh so hard I get tears!

I love the Geico commercials. Progressive and Allstate get on my nerves. My daughter and I loved the one about the big biscuit, and of course the piggy .

I love the pig one too! It cracks me up. The one commercial I truly cannot stand is the new Lego Duplo one with that song - Good morning son.....a brand new day. It literally seems to be on every single commercial break, no matter what channel im on. It irriates me so much I cannot mute it fast enough. I hate it so much I refuse to buy any lego duplos now!
