The new floor looks nice! We had out nasty old tiles replaced with hardwood laminate a few years ago and I love it! It's sooo easy to keep clean! And I love your AKL shower curtain! I can't wait to get to Kohls in a couple of weeks! It's kind of like my store...Oh I'm jealous of your AKL bathroom! I guess mine almost looks boardwalk-themed!

Sorry to hear about Jarvis' mom! I agree about him competing. His mom probably would've wanted him to go ahead and do the competition. I'm sure he's trained really hard for it and is ready. Bodybuilders can be very focused.

I can't wait to see some pics of your new kitchen and bathroom.I think many of us here are guilty of spending our home repair money on trips to WDW! I know I am! It's way more fun to go on a trip than fix up the house!
Somewhere, many pages back I saw you mention Mickey bathroom stuff at my favorite Tar-jay! I'm going to have to go see if my store has any of it! It may need to come to my house!!!!

I have some of those Disney glasses too! I never use them either, they are just hanging out in my cabinets. I don't have the complete sets, but I do have some of the square ones and the 100 years ones.

Well it's been over a week for me I finally got a chance to catch up on your report! I've gotten everything done that's due this week! I should have all of tomorrow afternoon to relax

My best friend is going to Disney this weekend. I'm not jealous though, because she's going with the school chorus...I could never do that I couldn't deal with all those kids from my school in my happy place! And they're staying off property and only for 4 days and they're probably not gonna have much park time. And she's sharing a room with 3 other girls. One of them is my friend, one of them I don't know, and the other one I can't stand being around for 10 minutes, let alone 4 days The whole trip would just stress me out too much

Oh, I forgot to mention this, but as of a couple weeks ago, I'm officially enrolled in Rhode Island College I still haven't heard back from URI, but I don't really care. I settled on RIC a long time ago so I went ahead and sent in my enrollment fee!

Hey MeMom just getting a chance to catch up! This last week or two has been rough! Ty was so sick and then I got me a good ole case of poison ivy. When I get poison ivy I get it good. So after steroid shots and pills I'm starting to feel better. Steroids and Rhonda DO NOT MIX. My family dreads when I'm on them. I get very "CRANKY"! lol Ty is much better now and so am I so all we need now is all this rain to go away. I'm ready for some more sun.

Love the floor, loveseat and shower curtain! It will be so worth it even though it is alot of work and money.

Our thoughts are with Jarvis during this very hard time he is going through.

Hope you have a great party Saturday! We are having Ty's April 9th. It's still hard to believe those two are (almost) 2 already.

Even if I am not able to do the tub now, I am very excited about the new stove, the dryer, and the floor. Plus, the walls got painted, and the bathroom got a new look, and I paid off one room for the summer trip. Not bad for one income tax return.

I'm highly allergic to poison ivy, too. I can't get anywhere near it or there will be an ugly outcome. I've done the swollen face and red skin. We go straight to a shot with me if I get near it. Hopefully you know where you came in contact with it and can get rid of it or avoid it.

I cleaned out the hall closets last night so he could finish the floor, and I threw out a bunch of stuff. After he finishes his work, hopefully today, I will start putting everything back together. Pictures need to be hung, stuff has to be dusted and put back on shelves, and furniture has to be put back in place.

I have decided to go ahead and take off tomorrow, but since we get ten sick days a year, I'm still good. I used three for Disney, I'll use one tomorrow, and then I'll have a bunch to carry over. I knew I had solidified the decision in my mind when I woke up this morning thinking it was Friday.

I hope that helps. Is it really painful at first?

I was terrified because they did it under local-never been awake during surgery! The pain wasn't too bad afterwards-as long as I kept it elevated and iced every hour. I just couldn't use it all. Its been a week now and I can use the hand-just limited-still healing inside so no heavy lifting. I'll be glad when I get the stitches out next week!
