example of DH's humor: His mother owns her own embroidery business where she also does screen printing. Without my knowledge, he had his mom make him a shirt that says on the back "HELP This woman and these 5 kids have abducted me and forced me to work to pay their bills." I believe he had it on at a party for at least a half hour before I discovered it. :rotfl2:

I like that shirt Kerrie. It's very important to have a great sense of humor at all times. :upsidedow

Hola PK

You guys have been busy yakking it up over here today. Truly, we are a group of no lifers since we are on here on Saturday.

At least I am not laying pavers.

DH is pulling up tile, so I'm hiding in my room. How's that for no life!

If the 5 kids are helping "dad" and you are in that room alone, I'd be calling that a little slice of heaven.

:darth: and :butterfly are still at Nanny and Pa's till tomorrow. pluto: and :stir: are watching cartoons on my bed. And, ::MinnieMo just woke up from her nap. And, lucky me, Snake 2 is sleeping in his terrarium next to me.

I did some running around today. My mom came to visit while DH, DD, MIL, FIL and pluto: are all in PA. And, of course, we've gone over our packing, etc. for the millionth time. :lmao: I obsessively pack for weeks beforehand, hoping that I don't forget anything. I HATE to have to buy something in WDW that I know I have at home. I'm also doing :laundy: Tomorrow will be cleaning day.

Now DH is having a shirt made that says "It's Cheaper to Keep Her" and, let's face it, it's true. I actually heard it in a country song and told him it should be his anthem. :lmao:

My DH would argue that it would be cheaper to get rid of me. He's currently annoyed that I bought another pond light for the pond at the rental house. I think that currently he would get a shirt that says "Its only a rental". I just love to shop and I'm not all that particular about what I'm shopping for, as long as I can shop.

PK, my husband and I pack the morning we are leaving. Unless we are going to Europe and then we pack the night before. I'm so sorry to hear that they moved ADR's back to 180 days because we are just not planners.

HEHEHEHE

packing is easy. I had to travel a lot for work, so I started using the space bags. now i just select the clothing for each day and stuff them in the space bags! usually take me about an hour or so.

DW takes a BIT longer!

I'm not very good at packing, that's why I start so early. Also packing makes me feel like the trip will be here soon and it helps get me excited about the trip. I have a habit of packing WAAAAAY to much. I never leave clothes at the house in PA because I'm afraid I might need whatever is up there. When we go away for the weekend, it usually takes me a duffle for me and a duffle for my daughter. I bring everything. Mind you, we usually go on a Friday night and come home on a Sunday afternoon. I really don't think there's any hope for me. :rolleyes1

I'm one of those people who can pack for a week in a small backpack. I could never be accused of taking too much. Like GP, I think it comes from too many business trips. After awhile, you get tired of hauling the stuff around. Just don't ever ask me to leave my flatiron behind.

I HATE packing. And, I could never pack the day we leave. Of course, that's probably because I have to pack for 7 people. That's a lot of stuff and it takes awhile to get it all together. Especially when 2 are still in diapers. And, one is still on baby food. I'd rather pack for a week than a weekend cause it takes as much work, but I don't have to unpack as soon.

They have space bags on pirate ships?

:lmao::lmao: I read that as you have a flat behind

I always overpack. Even last week, we would go to the beach and then shower at my inlaws house for the evening. I would put two or three outfits in my duffle bag because I never know what I'll feel like wearing. I had to bring my blowdryer (sil doesn't use one), brushes, makeup, extra sandals, etc. I need a uhaul :sad2:

Just for my own edification (I never used that word before), do you see a difference between a beach tote bag and a casual handbag:

I just can't seem to let this go!
