I know that y'all have bahookie fest coming up but I've got a celebration of my own. I finally finished the paver project today. Now I am moving onto the garden pond project.

This is the end of paver project party.

Congrats Pakey! I'm curious though -- exactly how many more projects do you have lined up after the garden pond? When are you going to actually relax and chill out a bit? I think someone deserves a very nice vacation to DL or WDW when all is said and done.

Don't I wish. After the pond, we have curbing to be done (I won't be helping with that) and then the planting. We'll probably wait until fall for the planting; trees and shrubs don't particularly like going into the ground in the 100+ heat.

We will probably go to Las Vegas in October for our next vacation. We were supposed to go to Costa Rica in September but cancelled it. We are supposed to go to either Costa Rica or Cabo San Lucas in December on the family vacation but no word yet from the ex-wife as to which location she has chosen.

That means no WDW until May

My countertops are done! It was a long week last week, but I have new counters in the kitchen, powder room and two bathrooms. Two new sinks, three new faucets

Yesterday was 107. I'm sooooo tired of the heat and there will be at least 2 more months of it.


Kerrie, what the heck is going on with your cabinets? Did the pot stirrer go crazy them?

We are removing the cabinets from the butlers pantry and our dining room. We need more storage, so we are replacing all of it with IKEA crap. There stuff holds alot more than these cabinets. When we put a contract on this house, we only had 3 kids. After our old house sold, but 3 mos before we moved in, we found out the pot stirrer was coming. No problem, we can turn the study into a bedroom. When she was about 9-10 mos, we learned about the baby. So, now, my formal living room is also a bedroom. The formal dining is a playroom. We are quickly running out of room and storage. We've been here 2 1/2 yrs and we've outgrown the place.
The hole in the wall is from DH. He was taking down the tile backsplash and the wall came with it.

I'm on Facebook too. I actually had to put an old high school friend in her own list because she was writing things that I was horrified by. Vulgar language, TMI, sounds like she never left high school. I'm game if anyone wants to become Facebook friends.

Glad to hear everyone is getting their projects completed. It's very exciting when something is finally accomplished.

Enjoying the last of my vacation this week. Spend a few days at the Jersey shore and loved it.

And, not that I'm excited or anything, but
