I'm here. I've actually HAD to work all day. It's made me kind of grumpy. I'm having to fix all of the mistakes made by the financial accountant I fired. I fired her for unprofessionalism; I had no idea her work was as bad as I'm discovering. I honestly think she did some intentional sabotage. I'm not a happy camper.

Hi all! I finally made it back. I've actually been busy in work -- no time to DIS. I've missed you guys -- it's not like I thought you were all having a life or anything, but it's nice to check in occasionally. I"m liking in our new word: "Doolally", although the hidden teen in me in liking "beer pong" even more!

My DD13 is now a huge fan of all things '80s (Jez, I love that kid!), so we've been spending time watching 80's movies and listening to 80's music. She had to read The Outsiders over the summer for English. She finished it in 3 days (was done last Friday), so we watched the movie over the weekend. The teacher also let them watch it in school today and all the girls were crushing on C. Thomas Howell. My DD explained to them, as I did to her, that they are old enough to be their dads, even older. That really crushed their little lustfest.

OMG, I loved C Thomas Howell (even though I was married with children in the 80's). I currently have Soul Man, Secret Admirer, Red Dawn and Outsiders on my DVR.

And 80's music. My ipod is full of Steve Perry/Journey, Foreigner and Billy Idol.

OK, that made me feel better. Maybe I'll make it through hump day as I have another grueling work day ahead of me.

I've never seen or read The Outsiders. I guess that is something I need to look into. Although I remember the 80s, I came of age in the 90s (born in 78). It's the music I remember the most. Still love it!

Kludgies are clean at my house now. And since it's finally only my husband and I, it's going to be so much nicer.

snappy, kludgie is Scottish term for the potty. This week's word is doolally.

And of course I had an 80's perm. And the leg warmers. Even though I was a grownup already.

OK, had to get this off my chest somewhere. My two youngest are only 18 mos apart, the baby is currently 5 1/2 mos. And, I was supposed to have started on Fri which makes me about 5 days late. I took a test a little bit ago and it was negative. I'm relieved (a little sad, but not much). I couldn't imagine another baby right now. DH seems fine either way, he's supposed to go to the dr in Aug to get things "taken care of." If I don't start by this weekend, I'll take another. But, could you imagine, a 2 yr old, 13 mos old, and a newborn?
