So I guess I had somewhat of a life today. I had to accept a donation check from the local rotary club for my library. So I got to go to lunch and give a little speech, which I was completely unprepared for. I was the last one to go though, so I had time to prepare.

Now that I've crashed from the big lunch and adreniline rush, all I want to do is go to bed.

I usually am not aware of the cat until I wake up for some reason...my favorite is when my cat whacks at me when I'm snoring. He always sleeps on a pillow above my head and he will hit me until I wake up if I get too loud. lol

The boy has lost a tooth today so i have to be tooth fairy tonight....hope i remember !!

Oh, good heavens....I always forgot! Once I even made up an "I was on vacation and my sub lost your address" note on my computer. I'd always swear I wouldn't forget, but darn it, I would. DD liked it when tooth fairy forgot, because she'd get more $$ that way (guilt payment....). Good luck!

and the next time DD got smart enough
to request that the tooth fairy leave her a present instead of money

My dad up and relocated to FLorida a year ago
formerly lived near Cleveland
decided the weather and the hard work was going to kill him
so now he is "retired"
in the happiest place on earth

DH and I think we would like to retire to Disney in a few, few, few years

It was meant to be, I guess. I'm pretty sure that I'm singlehandedly keeping WDW in business. I spend entirely too much $$ there.

what other fun things do you do to entertain the kids

we have visited Old Town
Gatorland (surprisingly enjoyable)
Cocoa Beach
Universal parks
Sea World
done the Kissimmee GoKarts

and last year we were thrilled to see a favorite
Pizza Joes in Kissimmee, they originate in PA right near the was40's!

We hope to visit Busch Gardens this year as well as WDW

He lost a tooth on friday too.
We have a wee purse like thing he puts them in under his pillow.
I was sure I had put money in (after having to go to the store at 11pm to get change )but when he woke in the morning he opened it and it was empty...my heart sank and my stomach flipped.
Im yelling " no way,the fairy didnt forget,oh no sweetie "
I swear I thought i was gonna throw up.

Till the wee toe rag started laughing.

He had already taken the money.

We do them all every trip(excluding Sea word last time ) we are there 14 days so we can fit in lots.

We have done a lot of the beaches on the west coast/gulf side. I really really like Bradenton Beach. Gorgeous! We've done several on the east coast/atlantic side too. My hubby is a big ocean person so we go to the beach often when it's beach weather.

We have season passes to AB parks (Busch, Seaworld) so we go there sometimes. Not as much as WDW, but we do go for a change of pace. We like Universal too. We plan to do season passes for that next year. They have been having a really bad economic time lately though.

I also like the Clearwater Aquarium, it's a rehab aquarium and it has a dolphin with only a partial tail. It's cool to see him swim! They do a lot of sea turtle rehab too. We also like to go on the Dolphin Boat to see dolphins in the wild. Always a good time.

I have been several times to the Manatee Viewing Center in Apollo Beach. We went once when there were dozens of manatees warming themselves there. It's cool!

I love to go to Crabby Bills. It's such a fun place to go! Food is good (unhealthy but good). lol We like to shop at all the outlet stores. We've found some awesome deals.

Ummm, I think that's all we've done so far!

Never been to Universal, but will be going when Harry Potter opens up. I think my kids have really still been too young for it. I do want to take them to St. Augustine sometime. We love history and you can't get more historical than there.
