GCH Downtown Disney Club Level

Hi all!

Club Level at GCH seems to have two categories - Standard and Premium. My understanding from these threads is that you can add Club Level to pretty much any room.

We just stayed at a 5th floor DTD-view room and would like to return, request that room, but add Club Level this time. I've got a call into my mortgage broker to arrange our return visit financing (kidding...sort of - this past 3 night stay was supposed to be once-in-a-lifetime but, well, once you've gone GCH it's pretty hard to go back) but, while I work on the finances, I figured I'd ask about the mechanics of booking a DTD-view Club level room. Help, please and thanks?

I'm not sure, but I think you have to request to add it on arrival, which of course is conditional on there being concierge availability at that time. If there is a way to add it to a room, I think you must have to call and try to speak to someone at the hotel or in reservations. I don't really know, but I did want to tell you that your post made me laugh. And I can relate!

No kidding! We are headed down in 2 days and have two rooms booked for a 3 night stay in DTD view room. When we stayed club level many years ago it was booked that way from the beginning. I'd love to know the mechanics also. May I ask what room you were in?

We were in 5423. I'm thinking that any DTD view on that "arm/wing" of the GCH would be great.

Place the floor number in front of the three other numbers to get the actual room number.

As PP mentioned, Club level can only be added if there is availability. Also, Club level cannot be added to a DVC room.

Can I ask for a little clarification? Do you mean Club level can only be added to a Downtown Disney View room if there is availability? I can definitely book a Club room now/in advance (I'm looking at going next November) but my only choices are Standard or Premium rooms with Club service.

To clarify, you can reserve a Club level room at any time if it shows as bookable. But if you reserve a non-Club level room, Club level service can be added later only if there is Club level availability.
