Going to Disneyland for the first time, June 26-29 to celebrate my BD! The first nite we are staying on DVC points that I have to use up at the DLH. The next two nights I am going to book a AAA pkg. Here's my choices:

1. Standard room GC
2. Resort view at DLH
3. Resort view Concierge at PPH

They are all the same price. The concierge service seems worth my while (4 of us) but to really take advantage of it we would have to come back to the room at least once during the day. How inconvienent will that be? My kids are 14 and 10. The GC looks beautiful and I would love to stay their, but it's only a std room. Or do you think it would be better just to stay all 3 days at the DLH so we wouldn't have to mess with changing rooms!!!

My personal choice is Grand Californian standard room. I did PP concierge for my birthday a few years back and have done a standard room at GC a few times. My kids won't leave the park to go back to the room, ok I won't either. ;) I just prefer the GC. Sitting by the fireplace, a drink in hand and listening to the piano player is a great diversion from theme park touring.
