Okay, this is really tacky, but all I have to work with is Powerpoint to copy, cut, etc. Anyway, here is what I'm thinking I want to do with the Gazebo (actual pic of gazebo with bunch of stuff "pasted" onto it)

I'm thinking of doing draping (as shown) with white tulle.

Hot pink organza bows on the top of the poles.

In the middle on the top of the entrance, I want a "...and they lived happily ever after" sign.

Two floral sprays on the front poles, that match my bouquet.

There are two small poles next to the entrance. I'm thinking of wraping them in pink tulle, with orange ribbon (colors of my bouquet), and topping them with the bride/groom ears.

A mickey "floral ball" at the opening of the sides.

Last, but not least, heart-shaped balloons (may be over-kill)

Actually, A LOT of it may be overkill!! :lmao:

Please let me know what you think!

Thanks,

Kel

I think it looks great! I think you're right about the balloons; they may be a bit much, but everything else looks great. BTW, excellent job on the powerpoint! :thumbsup2

I also agree about the balloons...other than that I think its really pretty...question...do they allow you to bring your own decorations?? Because im actually looking for black tulle and im guessing Disney doesn't supply that :)

Thanks for your opinions...yest, the balloons have got to go!! :lmao:

I'm sorry, I'm not sure about the other venues. Even though Shades of Green is on Disney World, they are operated by the military (which is good/bad because won't get some perks of other Dis Brides, yet don't have as many guidelines as WISHES/Escape, such as minimum stay, room blocks, etc) Have you found out yet if people are allowed to get married at the Haunted Mansion? I think that's going to be so cool!

Umm yes Kel - balloons need to go!! Otherwise I do like it very much. I like how you incorporated that sign that you wanted :thumbsup2 How about using some of your flowers from your bouquet with the tulle - or is that the Mickey heads? I can't tell from this point! (oh duh - you said that in your post! how non original of me! bah! :rotfl: )

I would put down some rose petals (maybe the pinks and oranges of your bouquet?) on the ground either leading up to, or inside the gazebo. Honestly, I think the beauty of the gazebo and the surrounding foliage is very scenic, and you don't want to take away too much from that. Are you still wearing the same dress and Gregg wearing the same shirt as you were going to for Margaritaville?

I really like it! It's such a beautiful location, it would be really hard to not make it look fantastic!

Thank you! It's going to be fun decorating...my DF is afraid I'll stress over it, but I love having something to plan. I'm a planner.

Hey, I worked hard on those balloons!! :rotfl2: I might re-think the Mickey head flower's too, and go heart-shaped instead, I'm not sure. I spent the night clipping flower to put on it.....gave me something to do while Gregg's out deer hunting, and I'm watching Survivor.

Yeah, no balloons, but everything else is great. I also think some rose petals up the aisle will be a nice touch.
