Gaylord Palms and back Travel Cost

I would like to go to Gaylord Palms one evening. Can anyone give me ways to get their and the cost. I have already got a quote for a towncar which is outrages IMHO. I like to go see ICE when I am at Disney one evening since the parks close early during November. I am staying at POR.

Take a taxi.

Excepting trips to the port and airport towncars typically charge by the hour. A three hour minimum is typical and you're charged from the time the car picks you up to the time your dropped off when you return. Sometimes from the time the driver leaves his office/home to the time he returns. In other words the driver is waiting for you while you're at ICE. $40-$60/ hour is reasonable so a charge of $120-$180 while not outrageous isn't worth it for most of us.

No there is no reason but as I ask I am looking for how much it would cost for the suggestted mode of transportion(taxi,bus if any,etc.

but in this case taxi is really the only viable way to go. Renting a car works if you want a car for other reasons. Gaylord Palms charges for parking.

I guess you could take WDW transportation to POP then take a taxi. You might save a couple of dollars. Not worth the aggravation.

You already found out a car service isn't an attractive alternative to a taxi. Each option has equally significant negatives vs taking a taxi.

Bing Maps has the distance at about 5 miles. By Mears taxi, that would be about $13 one way, plus wait time and tip. There are a number of traffic lights on the way, so wait time could add a few bucks.

(Rule of thumb for distance part of Mears taxi fare: Add 1 mile to the distance, and multiply by $2.20)
