Gay marriage.

There is nothing I can do about this issue because one; I am not working for any kind of government that makes or has a power in this decision, two; I don't have a high power at any kind of church. Therefore, whatever I say would be a pointless ounce of nothing contributing to a very sensitive conversation. I am not gay, and I don't know anyone who is gay.

I say just live and let live.

i find gay ppl the same as you and me. some ppl make a big deal about gays expressing their love in public.....big deal. they are just emotional ppl and have strong feelings for the same sex. nothing's worng about being attracted to someone. we are all the same on the inside. we all express our feelings different and we all believe different things. if you find someone you love, and they love you the same, there should be no reason what so ever that anything nor anyone should stop you from marrying each other. when you see a gay couple in public, it would be the same as if you see a straight couple........kissing, hugging, hand holding, etc. they shouldn't be judged on their beliefs or who they like.......they're just ordinary ppl! :confused3

amen!

I've got a lot of gay friends and I have gay relatives. if I am gay or not has nothing to do with it. but I will quote one of my friends in an argument that she had with someone who told her she CHOSE to be gay.

"I chose to be gay the same day you chose to be straight"

This is a reason that I am not christian. I could never worship a god who would sentence me to damnation for eternity. not because of something I did or thought or said, but simply because of who I happened to fall in love with.

Being gay is NOT a choice and it angers me when people say it is. What makes someone gay is a chemical in their head that tells their brain how to process pheramones.

a bisexual person is suseptable to pheramones of both sexes, and a gay person is suseptable to those of only the same sex. a straight person is suseptable to those of the opposite sex.

pheramones are what attract you to someone. you look for a sent that is close to yours, but slightly different. that is a strong attraction. totally different is a very strong PHYSICAL attraction, but nothing emotional. the same scent is no attraction at all USUALLY. the human brain is a strange organ and this is never 100% correct

I am 100% for GLBT rights. and I think that with everything going on in the world if two people are in love and want to get married and spend the rest of their lives together, good for them. it should be celebrated and they shouldn't be punished. The government has more thing to worry about than who is in love with who.

It's amazing how every single responce on here was pro-gay rights. If this question was asked a few years ago, people would have thought you were crazy. I think it's absolutely awesome that we're all young, and we all grew up thinking of the idea of beng gay as being not a big deal. I have a lot of gay friends, and while I don't fully understand the physiological aspects of being gay, they're just people. Really great people. It just shows how much times have changed, the fact that we're all so accepting of something that was so strictly banned and looked down upon not that long ago. Hopefully the government will realize this :D
