We will be in DLR over the Gay Days weekend. How much more crowded will the parks and hotels be?

Apparently the first weekend in October from what I have seen-Also at Knott's but not sure when.

It'll be pretty crowded but not unbearable. You'll have a combination of Gay Days PLUS it will be the opening weekend for Haunted Mansion Holiday.

So, would I be wise to go to Huntington Beach on Friday, Knotts on Saturday, shopping on Sunday and save my DL and CA days for during the week? My chance to see Fantasmic at this time of year will probably only be on the weekend, if at all?

DCA is never very busy even on the weekends. FYI. Where are you going shopping?

We thought we'd hit the Disney Warehouse, The Block and Fashion Island.

If mom so desires, at the Block they have a great day spa--Burke Williams. Maybe let the kids go to Dave and Busters(like ESPN Zone) and play for a few hours while you get pampered. Better facilities than Grand Californian.

Ya Know, this is sounding better and better.

The kids wanted to go-Vans, Ron Jons etc.
Maybe I should make them spring for my spa treatment!

Call ahead to Vans Skate Park. I know they are closing some of their locations. I think the one at the Block is one of two that will remain open,but don't quote me on that.

Well this may help your decision...Fantasmic! will not be going on even on Weekends in Oct. Labor Day ends the Fantasmic! run this year

Fantasmic! is now running on weekends through at least September. They just updated a few days ago. However, October isn't out and won't be until a few days/weeks into August.

Okay, everyone keep your fingers crossed and throw loads of pixie dust- Fantasmic the first weekend in October would be a great plus for me!!

Mom, just so you know. The Vans Skate Park is still open as of yesterday. I drove by on my way to Borders Bookstore.

Has anyone had trouble signing onto the disney site?
I haven't been able to get a schedule/calendar or the site for almost 1-1/2 weeks?
