but my mom is one of those women, can i say busybody nosey ol' lady, who would be one of those people who say "OH-MY-GOD :earseek: look at that! " in her best fran dresher voice at the top of her lungs...all the while trying to sneak a picture to tell the ladies at home ALL the DETAILS.... i can just see her asking, in a rather loud voice "why is everybody wearing RED?" better yet, she'd march right up to someone & ASK them, "So what's with the red?" and embarres me to death!:rolleyes!
IF she REALLY did sound like Fran Dresher.......I bet there would be a LOT of Gay men there that would be willing to have fun WITH her. If she is bold enough to do it...I bet you there are a bunch of men that would have a blast with it too!

Typically the parks will be crowd, the normal crowd for this time of year. So if you are looking for less crowds, thats a toss up in terms of which parks to go to. If you are trying to stay clear of the "gay" element, then you'll be out of luck, because I am not alone in my belief that all people gay and straight will be at the parks all different days next week.

I'll bet that Mister Disney is right. There will probably be gay folks in the parks even outside of the "official" Gay Days. Just like there will be straight people in the parks ON the Gay Days as well.

Oh, and see you at the Steam Train tour in about a week :wave2: !

mister disney, do most attending gay days stay at the same hotel or are you spread through out the area? Since it's disney, is it mainly families? Or is it just a big/wild party? Just trying to understand what to expect. We accidently ended up there during college days years ago....big mistake. Now I'm worried when there are "groups" of any kind.

Why are there two different schedules? Or for that matter two different groups? It almost appears like there was a split between the organizer. I'll have to let a friend of mine who likes to go that there will be twice the number of events.

I would like to thank the Gay Day organizers. It allowed me to find an easy way to get the 2-day park hopper convention tickets for me and my family without paying through the nose on eBay. While I am sure there is some ethical issue in buying those tickets, my wife and I consider ourselves gay-friendly (don't want to say "some of our closest friends are..." even though it's true), we'll be at the AK on the same day as the organizers have planned for the attendees and we are staying at the "Gay"lord Palms.

Trust me....even as a gay man...I don't always follow those schedules that are printed. I am on vacation and plan to do what I want when I want not based on anyone else's schedule. I suggest everyone should do the same.
