Hi,

I have just booked the Gatwick Travelodge for the night before my flight to WDW in October, and only paid £26 for a family room:cool1:

I don't know if this hotel is any good, but for that price I don't really care about the amenities, we just wanted somewhere to sleep, not that I can see us doing much of that:laughing:

Hope this helps someone.

Hi

We stayed here last year. We too paid £26 and for that the hotel is fine.
If you need a hairdryer, go to the front desk and ask for one, they are not kept in the room.

That is a good price. We're staying at the Express by Holiday Inn at Glasgow the night before our flight and including 16 days parking and brekkie it was £99.

hi

can anyone tell us how far from the airport the hotel is please?...at that price we may book too.

It's about a 10 minute drive. The £26 price comes up quite frequently on their website so it should be possible to get it. Parking is £5 (or it was this time last year).

We use the Travellodge at Manchester and pay £26 + £5 parking.

I think the rooms are very good - sleeps a family of 4 better than many rooms as it has 3 beds instead of 2 doubles. Even if it was three times the price I would still stay here.
