We are looking to stay overnight at Gatwick the night before our next trip.....there will be 10 of us all together and my Dad is quite fussy:confused3

I was looking to book the travel lodge as it is so cheap, but my Dad refuses to stay at a Travel lodge:rolleyes1

I don't want to be paying a fortune, so any recomendations would be great

thanks

We're staying at the Premier Inn, in Crawley. Its costing DF and I £86.50 for a double room, with a buffet breakfast each in the morning. Thats for a Wednesday night. Rooms are very spacious, clean and quiet. Bathroom is nice and modern, with a big bath and powerful shower. TV is good too, as its on a movable arm. Staff were all very friendly and we hardly saw anyone else around. Also, next door is the Gatwick Manor Pub - where Premier Inn hold their breakfasts etc. We had a fantastic meal there in 2009, with great service. Couldn't recommend it enough.

If you're staying overnight at the weekend, you could always look on the Hilton site as I know they've got a great deal going on. Think it comes to approx £80 after the addition of taxes, but I might be mistaken (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). Also, thats right at the airport. We looked at this but as we're going on a Wednesday it worked out as £118 for double room and breakfast...slightly too much as we're paying for my mom to stay overnight as well, as she's driving us to the airport (6 hr journey there and back again)

:thumbsup2

Thank you, i'm going to check them out now. we are also staying on a Wednesday.
