I *did* spot you and your ds looping in 1600...I think it was on Sunday.

Sunday evening was a lot of fun and the Fort was FULL of people looping, socializing, kungaloosh, beer...AND I didn't witness anything get out of hand...it was lots of fun. Then came Monday and the Fort is dead!

We're enjoying a slower pace at the Fort this week. I'm really surprised at how many open spaces there are. I've never witnessed it this way.

Hey Sonya, I bet that this is just the beginning of what will probably turn out to be a huge slowdown at the Fort. Not the best time considering all the money they're pouring into it (which means we'll probably have to wait another 15 years for an update).

I remember how dead it was after 9/11, for probably a good year and a half or so. We went the Thanksgiving right after 9/11, and the place was so empty it was crazy. And this was at Thanksgiving, the majority of the cabins were empty and a lot of the campsites as well. Was kind of spooky to see it that way :/

Ha, you were looping with your ds when i spotted you from our site. I waved...but didn't know for sure if it was you...until I saw the pictures. Too bad you guys pulled out, we're having a great week at the Fort, but there are too many empty sites!

Chris, we're hoping dates open up for us to return at Thanksgiving. We'll be down in October, but we'd love to spend Thanksgiving at FW!

I looked for you guys this morning but couldn't find you. I saw two lamp post but no cart or Lime gren ears. one was a flagstaff trailer and the other was ????. I will try to go by again tonight.
We managed to add a day so we leave tommorrow ( Friday ) instead of today.

1- My DS HAD an auburn shirt on and had an accident all over the bottom of it
(you asked for it, you got it TOYOTA~)

2- If they don't know what we are talking about, they can go and read ALL of the MMGG thread and this thread to catch up...fair enough?

DS got so caught up in the activities that he had two more outfits after that one!

see, i laugh now, but it wasn't funny then...i had to clean him up...

I know I'm still fairly new here and not a true "ear-regular", but if I send my pic, can I be hung on the "tree of shame", errr, I mean "fame" next time? I promise to behave (somewhat). If Phyllis sends her pic you can hang us together and we'll both get verklempt and cry over our children growing up, lol. (Phyllis, if you read this, I'll bring the tissues, k?)

Those are great pics and it looks like a GREAT time was had!! Hey, got a question. I'm sure Rog will post when they get back, but how did Mrs. Rog like the tent camping??!!! I know that was maybe a concern before they left.

I don't want to ruin all of Rog's post when he gets back but I will say that they are having a great time. He was a little suprised at how well Mrs. Rog and the kids did. He said that he put a lot of effort into making them all enjoy the tent camping and it paid off.
