Gator experience

Hi, we are going back to florida in April. Last time we did a trip on an airboat ride & really enjoyed it, only saw baby gators though, but lots of other wildlife. The 30 mins went so quickly. This time we would like to do a longer trip, is it best to go early morning or evening to see the gators out of the water.
