Gastric Bypass Questions

I just had my gastric bypass last month and have a trip planned for June. I was wondering if there are any frozen or regular drinks available for me to drink at the parks or if i will be limited to bottled water. I would love to find out if WDW offered the frozen lemonade in a sugar free version

Hi! I am a new RNY planning a trip to Disney too! My surgery was March 3rd we leave for WDW on May 17th. I was concerned about some of the dining options also and wondered if there are any non carbonated sugar free drinks available in WDW too. I have been looking through menus on allearsnet.com but have yet to find some sugar free drinks. I am planning on bringing the Crystal Light individual packets to flavor my water just in case, but I will be thrilled to find something sugar free in WDW.
Maybe try posting on the WISH threads. I know there are some RNYers there that have more specific info, too.

I know that at many of the resort food courts they have "Light" lemondade that is sugar free and brewed ice tea which you add your own sweetner to.

Just wanted to mention that if you are "stuck" with the water consider taking some of the pre-packaged mixes (for bottled water) for some flavor changes, crystal light iced tea or lemonade is sugar free and YUMMY!! There are many other brands less expensive too.
In the meantime, GOOD LUCK TO YOU and congratulations on the NEW UPCOMING HEALTHIER you! My sister did the less invasive procedure and is doing AMAZING! God Bless!

Hi. I had Gastric bypass surgery last september & have made 2 trips to WDW since then.

They do have "light" lemonade that I drank with no problem. Each park also offers either sugar free vanilla ice cream or a sugar free strawberry popsicle a the ice cream carts. Several restraunts also offer sugar free ice cream in a variety of flavors.
