Gasparilla at the GF

Anyone eat breakfast there? I looked at Deb's site to see the menu, and it looks extremely limited (no eggs, bacon, and such) for b'fast. Anyone know if they do serve these things, or is it just the pastries? My kids are big b'fast fans and love pancakes, sausage, bacon, french toast, scrambled eggs. We're doing at least 2 character breakfasts because of this- they'll actually eat the food-LOL!

If Gasparillas is limited, can you get "to go" breakfast from the GFC?

I don't remember them having egg platters, though I think they did have egg, cheese, bagel sandwiches. They did have pancakes/frenchtoast (depended on the morning) but they weren't all that great. I don't know if they do to go at GF Cafe, since the room service is basically the same, and SO YUMMY!!!!

My kids liked the egg sandwiches and fruit platters. If not, you can always pre-order room service. I've always been impressed with GF's room service.

I don't remember egg dishes being made fresh at Gasparilla's, either. However, I will echo the sentiment about room service for breakfast! They come in with a huge tray and they set the table in your room with a cloth table cloth, they bring you a toaster so that your toast is made fresh right there so it'll be hot (I don't remember if the CM toasted the toast, or if he left the bread and bagels and *we* toasted it). It didn't matter though, it was wonderful!

They do a beautiful job of setting the table in your room

It was wonderful to have breakfast while looking out at the lagoon. DSs sat at the table in the room while DH and I took our food out to the balcony to eat

Thanks to all! We may just have to get something to go from Gasparillas a few days and splurge on Room Service (I love the pictures). We will also eat in the Cafe at least once.

They used to have french toast and lots of hot breakfast items. Also used to serve Krispy Kreme doughnuts, but things may have changed since I worked there in 98!
