Gas prices jumped up over night!

Filled up yesterday at the gas station by MK for $1.75 a gallon. Both gas stations by my house were at $1.77 a gallon. Today, everyone is at $1.89 a gallon.

I hate it when that happens. Last week some stations here went from $1.73 to $1.86. The funny thing was that the stations on the other side of our suburb stayed the same--and now they are all back down around $1.70! But if you drive across the river, it costs another 10 cents a gallon!
I think the worst I remember was 30 cents a gallon in one day.

I paid $41 (2.56 a gallon) to fill up my Accord a few days ago.

Gas prices have fallen here a bit. We're "down" to $2.62 in some areas.

Those were the days weren't they??? Yesterday I nearly gave myself whiplash pulling into a gas station at the last minute- I saw gas was only (note I said ONLY) 2.45 a gallon!!

I'd love $1.75 a gallon! It still hasn't dropped from less than $2 yet here. I thought I got a deal for $2.27 yesterday.

Well, if you think about it, thats from January. $2.27 yesterday (october) is what I would pay back in July for gas. Maybe we will get down to $1.75.

Yeah, figured that out!

Not only did I get $2.27 but they pump for me in my state. Its illegal for the cosumers to pump themselves!

I did have to wait for about a 1/2 hour for the whole process to finish. Usually getting gas takes about 5-10 minutes.

I tried to get one complaining about the gas prices from way back when the board started, but no luck.
