Gas dryer Question? Re: Heating coil?

Ok so My dryer just died.
It still is running but, theres no heat whatsover!!! Of course just before the Holidays!
In any event....... has anyone had a heating coli replaced and is that a major repair or Minor?

Usually minor. Usually something you can do yourself if you can get the part. Simple remove and replace, typically with an easy access port to the outside of the machine.

Thanks.... I was hoping it was minor!!! Bummer I can't get the guy here till Moday!!!

I would never try to fix a gas appliance myself!!! I may blow myself up!!!
