I just drove past it on the way back from having dinner with Cinderella at the Grand Floridian:cloud9:about ten miuntes ago, and regular gas was 3.95 a gallon. No telling what it will be in August!!!!!

almost 3 weeks ago it was $3.99 for regular

I was shocked at the price - it was actually WAY cheaper than gas where we live... We are in So. CA and currently we pay about $4.75 for the basic unleaded!!!! When has Disney been that much less $$? Hess has always been less than us but not by this much...

The average price of gas in Orlando has been in the range of $3.89-$4.00 in most places. Years ago, those stations (don't think they were Hess then) did charge a lot more, but have since fallen in line with other area gas stations. Obviously, there are a lot of tourist areas you can go to in Orlando where the gas is much higher.

I don't remember what we paid, but know that it was quite a bit cheaper than what we paid back here in Houston. That was the week of June 14-21.

we drove down in may and were in FL for 10 days before we went to disney. i was very surprised to see that the gas at the hess was quite a few cents cheaper than it was everywhere else we had been. i had expected it to be more expensive. i would budget for the same price you're estimating for everywere else you would get gas.

My husband and I lived for 3 years in Orlando and he happened to work at the big corporate Disney building next to the Hess station at DTD and we ALWAYS got our gas there as it was as cheap if not cheaper then most areas in Orlando.

My advice for anyone is that they should always fill up on property before heading back to the airport in their rental car because it will still be on full when you get there :thumbsup2
